I loved the great heel character Amanda has been perfecting all season. The one that cut a face promo inviting everyone to her party except for the only heel in the building.
Seriously. You can't use "I'm not a bitch. It's a character" half the season as a get out of jail free card and then when it's time to be the character and try to win the show, cut a face promo and suck up for votes. I was so frustrated that no one on the show called her out for that.
On a positive note, all for matches were better than they probably had any right to be. Amanda had a few screw ups, Sara messed up going for the arm bar, ZZ with the drop down, and Josh was pretty far off, but nothing was all that bad. I liked Sara's selling during her match quite a bit, and I think Josh looked pretty good taking Cesaro's moves as well. I'd say Sata and ZZ were better overall tonight (Josh's promo was so whack), but everyone has a long way to go. They're all projects for sure, but I think you could get something out of most of the cast this season. Probably not the best idea to have the coaches completely bury Sara and ZZ under 15 feet of dirt tonight though. Like if they want to sign ZZ, having everyone go "He doesn't have the heart and he's a pussy who doesn't want to get hit" AFTER he already lost isn't going to help him any. So much of that Tough Talk was unnecessary and counterproductive.
But yeah. Generally positive outlook on the future for these contestants. I could see almost anyone getting a deal, except for maybe Gabi and Hank or Alex.
Josh's outfit was hilariously bad too. Who thought that looked professional at all?

Didn't watch much of the show, but I only have one thing to say about the finale... ZZ's gimmick name should've been Tubby Lumpkins. Missed opportunity. Fuzzy's brother? ...Yes. Give him a banjo named "Joe" and a finisher that turns his opponents into meat... Somehow... And you've got a license to print money.

Yeah, honestly, the burying of ZZ and Sara on Tough Talk bothered me a lot. ZZ lost, and he's very frustrating because of his off camera behavior, so I guess maybe he had another verbal beating coming.
Everyone saying that Amanda should've won except Triple H was annoying. I think Hunter should've roasted all of them for it, especially Billy, who was super obnoxious and just kept on going, and going, and going. Guess what Billy, that It Factor that Sara has that you never did? That's why you never made it in the main event. Booker's always wrong about everything but ring work, so whatever, the man is flat out stupid. Lita tried to be diplomatic, but still, why not talk up the winner?
Everyone on Tough Enough's staff except Daniel Bryan, Triple H and Renee Young were assholes.

She knew she had no chance of winning the fan vote after being a heel all season. I felt bad for her what's she suppossed to do go tell all the fans they suck and could never get with her? That's the character she plays best but how do you go out there telling everybody that and expect to get votes? She was in a no win situation. Billy, Lita, and Booker who coached these people all season said she should of won on Tough Talk. Granted they will offer her a developmental contract but it'll be a fraction of the 250K Sara received and may not be in her best financial interest to pursue. Sara did fine tonight too not knocking her this time.

I highly doubt WWE's going to give ZZ another look after this, but I totally agree about how terrible Tough Talk was. I felt so so bad for Sara. Here she is after 10 weeks of everyone telling her she can't do it and she wins the competition and all anyone can do is complain that Amanda didn't win. All anyone did was try and take that joy away from her and it was so unfair to watch. I'm glad Triple H and Jericho at least came to her defense and pointed out, rightly, that Sara connects to fans and that is not something that can be taught. She can be taught how to work in the ring. I just felt so bad for her to have to deal with that.

It's all about a one hour Big Brother style show to let the WWE Universe pick who's least annoying. The whole aspect of this show never really ever made any sence to begin with but it still bugs me. All I took from the finale is a female with limited athletic ability can connect with people and win a vote against a superior athlete, while a male with limited athletic ability can connect with the crowd and lose a vote to a superior athlete.

Triple H only did so because his daughter's love Sara Lee for reasons he said he doesn't know. In them he trusts. Can't wait till The New Authority is the 3 Levesque Girls. I would mark for an angle where JoJo Levesque shows up screaming Leave... Get Out... At them though.

I think Triple H was using that as an example of that fan connection, 'it' factor that you just can't teach. You can teach a guy to be the best wrestler in the world, but if the fans don't give a shit about you then who cares?

I could see Amanda getting booed out of the building on RAW next Monday playing a bitch. Hope she proves me wrong but if you put Sarah on RAW next Monday I'd wager she gets the crowd crapping all over her then chanting We Are Awesome or something.

HA In fairness, you have a point that Amanda has that same fan connection, but in the opposite way because she was heeling. I think the second they see Sarah sucking in the ring, with a smarky crowd, she will probably be dead.

A lot of mine seems to go over people's heads. But I think Heel Amanda would go a lot further than Face Sarah in WWE and get the desired crowd reaction their characters are going for. Just my opinion and if you disagree I respect yours.

Just watched the finale and half way through Tough Talk.
You know the one person that comes out best out of all of this, out of all the contestants, judges, coaches etc....
Daniel Bryan.
If he hasn't shown constantly before that he is a stand up guy, then this show is even more evidence of what a true man and person he is. He always spoke fairly and unbiased on each contestant, being firm not harsh, giving constructive criticism and giving praise when it needed to be given. He knew that ZZ was being unfairly criticized to a degree in which it was too much, and it was very much on the surface that everyone will side with Josh and rail on ZZ from the start of the episode. I applaud him for standing up and saying it wasn't right, in front of one of his bosses and his colleagues.
Jericho understood what Bryan was saying and I like Jericho (despite some of things he has said over the past few years, I will still always be a mark for him) so good for him on following up on Bryans point. But I don't think he would have done it if Bryan didn't stop the whole thing with everyone tearing ZZ a new one to begin with.
It was an honor and dream to meet him in person during my Wrestlemania 31 weekend. As perfect a wrestler as he is, with all the classic matches he has had in and out of the WWE, his impact on the industry as a whole, future Hall of Famer without a doubt etc I think him as a person and a fair, kind, honest, respectful man that he always has been is as if not more important that the list of successes I have just listed off.
