The Tough Enough season premiere had 1.2 million viewers last night. The previous season a few years ago with Steve Austin did 3.3 million from the premiere before dropping to the high 2+ million range thereafter. Like Total Divas, though, it could gain a decent number of viewers on replays.

So far the contestants look better then the ones in 2011 and I do like the live voting system in place preventing bullshit from happening like Matt Cross being the second person eliminated or USA Network thirsty for that Miss USA chick to win. Plus no Bill DeMott and the training is being done in the performance center so there will be probably be NXT Cameos and less weird bullshit network challenges. The only thing the 2011 season has over the new season so far is Stone Cold as the host berating everyone.
But dear God that 2011 cast was just awful

Once people saw Sara Lee they were all, yeah this chick's got it, and they just didn't need to watch anymore.

Tough Enough did 1.05 million viewers Tuesday night, a drop from 1.21 million the previous week. The replay of Raw did not crack the top 100 shows in the 18-49 demo on cable last night.

eh, not surprised
I like WWE and all but I dont give a damn about tough enough, so they cant depend on EVERY watcher to really care about tough enough just cause it's also a "WWE" show...

I didn't watch nor do I really plan on doing so. I don't really have an interest in the concept, to me it just seems...dumb and gimmicky more than anything.

I just saw the hosts, assumed it would suck and haven't seen it.
I liked the one with Austin but there's no way I'm watching this unless I get cash prizes for winning.

The entire cast size(including hosts) is almost 3x bigger than the last Tough Enough.
No offense to Y2J, but Austin was just better with this stuff.

I didn't watch any of the previous Tough Enough and I don't plan on watching this Tough Enough.
The concept is pretty weak and the winner isn't guaranteed much. It carries that stench of irrelevance like most of what's on any individual episode of Raw or Smackdown.

Back in 2001 when they launched the concept, while everyone was in the know about wrestling, they hadn't yet pulled back the curtain to show the world how it all worked. Now, they show the ins and outs of the business everywhere. Heck, they even expose the business on ESPN specials quite regularly. Everyone knows what the Wizard of Oz looks like.

I think people realize none of these people have any chance of making it big and just don't care.
