Local and National. Something's gotta give. I think Collins' days are numbered

I think Collins' days are numbered is it really his fault though i mean look at what he's been having to deal with they are having major injuries all over the place, the offense is not doing anything, the pitching is starting to decline, and sandy's just sitting back and not doing anything to help

But something's gotta change to light a spark. Terry never puts out a consistent lineup injuries aside.

They just let up 4 runs to a team that's 27-46 you say pitching isn't declining and don't forget about the bullpen starting to blow ball games now even our closer can't hold a lead anymore and even if terry put out a consistent lineup the offense would still suck

Our core to our strong pitching. Can't expect every other pitcher to be lights out. Syndergaard has shown promise, but isn't quite there yet, but I remain confident. Our bullpen stinks, I'll give you that. Maybe I should have clarified that our starting pitching isn't declining.

True but did you forget how good colon was in the beginning of the season now he's allowing 4 runs to a team who's 20 games below .500 I know he can't always have great starts but he's been struggling for a couple of them now and so right now we only have 2 good starting pitchers that's a problem

Rosenthal seems to be indicating Mets are calling up Matz. Nothing official. Says something could be in the works and could be announced later today,
That would probably explain why he was snubbed on a futures game selection.

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. - Baseball's Hall of Fame will make a special recognition of Curt Flood at its annual awards presentation on July 25, a day before its annual induction ceremony.
The Hall said Tuesday that players' association head Tony Clark will speak on behalf of Flood's challenge to the reserve system, a case Flood lost in 1970 in a 5-3 vote by the U.S. Supreme Court. Five years later, the players' union gained the right to free agency in an arbitration case filed on behalf of Andy Messersmith and Dave McNally.
The Hall also will mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II by recognizing players who served, including 36 Hall of Famers. U.S. Navy Secretary Ray Mabus will speak on behalf of all U.S. military branches.
