And with that, after finally winning.......... I have to announce by retirement from these games, and probably permanently reside at the judges table.

Great season. Props to the FW and kudos to Rad and J. Huge fans, as you can tell by my rankings throughout the season.

Congrats FW
Well deserved as you must have beastmoded a record number of singoffs
Also props to J and Tyger who imo were the most adventurous song pickers of the seasons. And thanks to Cage for hosting and all the judges for slogging through so many songs during the season.

Congratulations FW on proving once and for all that you are the king of good music taste. You fought valiantly and proved yourself to all of us.
In case anyone cares, I shall return for next season of Idol. This time I'll make sure to consult Pitchfork's top 400 alternative rock songs of 1987.

I'll be back as well, and judging by the Jeff Mangum in your avatar, I see you'll be trying to usurp the "Uses a lot of indie songs" crown that is currently held by either me or suave.

I know your all anxious, but would be the worst idea to take a break from idol, and start up again in like a month or two like around Thanksgiving? Seasons 8 and 9 were done pretty much back to back, and the latter lasted longer than a year (NOT kidding) As a result it caused a lot a burnout and season dragging. It might not be the fun way to go, but I find it a reasonable and maybe necessary consideration

Congrats to rad and fw91. Extra special well done to fw91 for taking this thing home! I didn't expect to last nearly as long as I did this season. One more finish like this and I might just be the FAN Idol version of the Buffalo Bills. Give folks time to breathe. Also more time to reload and find more songs to be used.

It might not be the fun way to go, but I find it a reasonable and maybe necessary consideration I've thought about doing my take on Peg's Scavenger Hunt game, but I might not have the time. A break would be great from Idol for a few reasons: We need to shore up players, both new and returning ones. We have some great players here, but we could use some new blood. When you look at who did well this Season, they were either people who were new to the game, like ChaosxEffect and Ya-Kishi or people who had relatively little experience playing Idol, like myself, rad, and fw91. Roxie Daggers, one of the best players ever, was essentially a walk-on in a few seasons ago. I think we need new players, especially a few female players again, as well as find out what people like former FAN Idol winner and judge Z-A are up to. Demented did well this Season and he nearly won one way back when. Then he disappeared for a bit (same with Sssnakebite); people like Stinger4Christ or the Baldy Kendrick or the Anonymous GM might what to get involved again. We also need a game overhaul
