The woman in those infamous ads who thinks she "knows" the Internet is Dixie Carter 30 years from now.

I mean, it sounds like they need to allow their talents to work elsewhere to be able to have a working roster in TNA. They just don't work enough dates at high enough of a price for most guys to make a living under an exclusive contract. I suppose having a working relationship between the two companies means they both can have access to decent talent by both allowing each other to book guys like James Storm and Magnus so that they get paid enough to not sign exclusive contracts with larger companies (like the WWE for example). Now, this sounds unsustainable in the long term given both companies are not in the best of shape. Hell, GFW doesn't even have any sort of TV deal or really anything going on besides a few house shows and TNA might get cancelled. It is like two guys who each have a broken leg attempting to help the other walk. They should just combine under the new name and hope for the best since the TNA name is just too hurt by this point. Although I honestly think this Invasion angle is unlikely to do well and will probably hinder any merger if it comes down the road.

Also, this just dawned on me.
If this goes to the assumed conclusion...TNA will have booked themselves into oblivion/out of existence/your expression of choice.

Yet some how not a damn thing about GFW or Jeff Jarrett has been taped for the impacts that where taped last week TNA announced JJ will be added to their HOF, and that's it. I don't remember any signs of any kind of invasion angle in the spoilers at all, and TNA has episodes in the can thru early August.

I don't remember any signs of any kind of invasion angle in the spoilers at all, and TNA has episodes in the can thru early August. Forgive me if I'm misremembering, but I swear I read here or somewhere that it was meant to "start" with the GFW tapings in late July?

I don't know if they know this or not, but in order to have an invasion, the people doing the invading need to be outsiders. The Briscoes, Mike Bennett, Adam Cole, ACH, etc invading TNA would be an invasion, not guys like James Storm and Magnus who haven't been gone for very long.

Did GFW get a TV deal? That be confusing as shit if it's only happening on GFW TV But if it's the TNA July tapings they would only make it 3 weeks before being off tv It doesn't make any damn sense My head hurts

No way would ROH want to work with TNA and jeopardize their great working deal with New Japan. Besides ROH already got their TNA invading group with the Knights of the Red Dawn. Invasion angles are beyond played out in TNA. Why should anyone care about a dying company invading a company that barely exist?

Just squashing the ROH/TNA crossover suggestion that been going around the Net since ROH came to Destination America.

Yea, you def wouldn't be doing that "we have released "X" wrestler from his/her contract if they had shareholders to answer to. Isn't this the sort of thing the network is supposed to intervene on? I mean, if they can force TNA to keep the title on a worn out, broken man barely held together with duct tape and gorilla testosterone, isn't the company giving all appearances of bleeding out cause for intervention? No. Just let it happen. If the Network is going to cancel TNA anyway, they might as well let Jarrett euthanize it and do what he wants with the remains.

I really hope this turns out to be Double J working Dixie Carter by getting her to agree to sign away all of her remaining talent to him in the guise of a big storyline, and then just disappearing with them all into the night leaving her with nothing but an empty ring, no network, and Bob Ryder.
