Come to think of it, when was the last time Raw ended with people brawling to the final fadeout of the show instead of X standing tall over Y?

On the plus side, the roster is one of the best I've ever seen, so the potential for greatness is there. The writing just needs to find their place and relaxing the PG thing might be like taking the foot off the brakes.

should have just swapped the titles with Rollins and Cena and have Cena do open challenge for wwe title and Rollins elevate US title.
Cena matches/promos have been best part of the show for weeks now.

My two things are that it's practically the same damn show all the time and none of the fat ever gets trimmed off of anything. You can connect the dots and figure out a fifteen minute segment immediately and then have to watch it agonizingly play out for the next 14:58.
Samey sameness + brutal verbosity = zzz..... zzz....

I still have Lucha Underground. I will always have Lucha Underground. And I really, really wish more people would watch it because it does absolutely everything better than the WWE. Also, I like Coldplay. f*** all y'all. You just caused like 50 people to not want to watch LU now. Gotta leave that second part out. Now it's too late.

Cena matches/promos have been best part of the show for weeks now. That solves literally nothing other than keeping the status quo even further. And with the current storyline, it looks like it'd mean Owens would be winning the WWE title at Battleground. And I like Owens just fine, but him winning the WWE title after 2 months on the main roster is a bit much.

Everything is completely meaningless. Take tonight's opening promo, for example. To quote Paul Heyman quoting Dusty Rhodes, "Where is the money?" They spent 15 minutes doing nothing at all. Seth Rollins says he's awesome, the Authority's great, and then gives Kane and J&J gifts. They didn't even do the obvious of having Dean or Roman destroy the car! Just, "yep, we're together again." For 15 f***ing minutes. Just have a backstage segment, with Rollins saying he wanted to show his appreciation for J&J, so he got them something, and then lead them to the car. It would take one minute. Then use the other 14 to f***ing build talent!

Sure is.
That opening segment was torture. Surely Triple H or whoever is in charge can't honestly think this is good TV. I don't know about anyone else but I'm sick to death of these Shield member matches. I don't find any of them particularly entertaining and these matches get duller by the week to me. Which brings me to Sheamus...get him the hell off my screen. He bores the living daylights out of me and if I never seen him again I'd be happy. Paige Vs. The Bellas...who cares? Really...who cares? The PTP Vs. New Day...enough already and Cena Vs. Owens...meh. It's sad when Cena is the best thing in the WWE right now.
The show sucked.

It's not that it's terrible, it's just safely written. Why do something else and lose money? They have major sponsors and don't want to rattle the cages of those sponsors.
Also they book their shows like they get new viewers every week. Thats why we get nonstop recaps, buzzwords, nicknames being shouted over commentary because the new viewers don't know anything and they feel that their current viewers aren't smart because McMahon still has old ideas/values/morals so one of those is still probably that anyone who watches wrestling have low to REALLY low IQ's.

It's really just dull right now. Even some of the worst Raws can hold my attention, but tonight, I either felt second hand embarrassment or bored out of my mind. All I remember is Seth giving out a bunch of presents and that Cesaro and Cena match. Really, the only thing worth watching is the Cena/Owens stuff and maybe some tag team stuff since they put out a solid performance regularly.
It's especially bad with the former Shield guys (which is really sad to say). Roman is fighting Bray in an out of nowhere kind of feud, Seth hasn't really gotten his comeuppance since he won the briefcase last year (or if he does, it lasts for two weeks), and Dean is just tagging along with Roman, who is also fighting the authority along with Bray. I can only hope that things will improve once Seth loses the title and maybe one of them turns. That along with some more solid midcard storylines could improve the show greatly.

Lower ratings for Raw and less subscribers to the Network isn't a good thing. Poor (or safe, whatever you want to call it) booking will catch up to them, as it has done with every company in wrestling history (WWF in the mid-90s, TNA now, WCW in 99/00).

Its the complete oppose of Raw. It's the most contrived TV show I see, and my girlfriend has a ton of the HGTV "reality" shows on.
Every week it's Authority for 15-20 mins leading to a match, midcard filler that means nothing, Cena match/segment at 9:00 ET where he has the exact same match every week no matter the opponent, more filler bullshit and then an Authority main event with the Shield guys that ends with someone standing tall. It's awful. The MTV reality shows have more variety in format.

The last indy show I went to was back in 2012 because my friend was having his first match as a wrestler in a battle royal. I didn't mingle with them so I wouldn't know.

Match quality is worth zilch if the writiers are bad.
I'm sick of Raw opening up with a promo and ending with a guy standing over another guy. People always say "The Attitude Era is overrated" but atleast it kept us intrigued for the next week.
I fast forward through Raw. It's just pointless match after pointless match after pointless match. Why should I care about Barrett vs Swagger? Or Paige vs The Bellas? Or Sheamus vs Neville? Cesaro vs Cena was good but it was predictable as all hell that Owens was gonna run in and spoil it.
I think my passion for wrestling is on its last legs. I can appreciate a great match but I want compelling storylines and unique ideas. I don't care if the storylines are stupid. I'd much rather see Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler feuding over a Shampoo commercial than nothing at all.

They eventually will have to change but it won't be for a long time. I feel as though TV isn't a main priority to them as they make it seem it is. Because if it was it would be booked better. I think they just base all their success off of house shows, sponsors, Network, and merchandise. They just use TV as a away to promote all this mumbo-jumbo for those things I listed and those with the low IQ's that don't have a critical mind towards this will enjoy it.

Eh, I still got the G1 Climax and the TNA board for my entertainment. Raw's quality has no bearing on my love of wrestling anymore.
