I cant help but wonder this: Why arnt Bob and Janice helping Dixie out budget wise?
Think about it. They had a "get out of jail" card last year when Jeff Jarrett and Toby Keith offered 50 mil for TNA. Panda were never going to profit on the sale of TNA but would have got something and been free to wash their hands at TNA.
They are the ones who said no. Bob and Janice are the ones that insisted their talentless Daughter be kept in her role. So they made their bed.
So why not increase her budget again and let Dixie try and rebuild the brand? I know Hogan and Bishoff raised costs insanely and were insisting that even more money be wasted. I agree that the Carters had to put a stop to that. But they have completely gutted TNA.
Every time a wrestlers contract comes up, they leave. How is that a good thing?
Look I admit it: I was wrong about AJ Styles. I said he was just a good worker and would be no real loss. God I was wrong. He was the heart and soul of TNA and without him, they are a shell of what they were. When Daniels and Kaz left, TNA might as well have shut down then and there.
So why are Bob and Janice doing this? Why keep TNA if you arnt going to support it.
Because they want to keep Dixie happy?
? How could Dixie possibly be happy?
Shes constantly insulted by former wrestlers and backstage people. Wrestling forums crucify her and her twitter is full of hateful comments. If all that wasnt bad enough, every week something bad seems to happen. Ratings are decreasing and another company just signed on that better than hers. Loosing Spike cant of been fun and now that DA seems to have lost interest they are in real trouble. All of this must have taken a toll on Dixie.
I have a daughter too and there is no way I would let her stay in charge of a failing business like TNA. I would have pulled the plug when Hogan and Bishoff raised expenses as high as they did.
So whats the point? Let her go down with the ship?? Why? Do they love her at all?
I dont think they do.
Im not saying open the budget back up again to insane lengths. But they could restore 2009's pre Hogan budget couldnt they? who knows....Maybe TNA would have survived. At least everyone would have gotten paid on time.
