Yes it's a thread on that damn rebound clothesline thing by Ambrose. The first time I saw it I thought it was really cool. Now? I hate it. It's awful.
Yes I know all wrestlers have signature moves; a fan in 99 might have been heard to say "Oh there's that silly Lou Thesz Press again! This guys only got five moves of doom!" At least it kind of made sense as an offensive move though, whip your opponent into the ropes and hit them with it, or even hit it whilst running yourself. It was a move that didn't feel out of place or contrived.
I can't stand Ambrose's clothesline, it's making me dislike a wrestler I think is great. He and his opponent look like an idiot every single time he does it. It's just an annoying, stupid looking move. It's even worse when Ambrose and an opponent are outside the ring, his opponent tries to roll Ambrose back in the ring BUT GOOD OL' AMBROSE DOES A REALLY LAME KIND OF ROLL ONTO THE APRON AND OFF AGAIN CLOTHESLINE.
Gah! It's horrible beyond comprehension.
Agree? Disagree?

I wouldn't mind it if he didn't set it up so slowly to the point where his opponent really should see it coming.
I'm not saying do it lightning fast like Nigel McGuinness used to but put some intensity into the move damnit!

I don't mind the move itself, but there are some matches where he's just spamming it, going for it about four times before the fifth one finally works.

To be fair, it looked like shit a good amount of the times Nigel did it, too, but he did seem to get it out quicker sometimes.

The way he spams it is what really gets me. When he rebounded three straight times before he got Rollins, that shit really got to me
The Apron 619 Rebound is weird too. Of all the stupid names WWE has given him I don't know how something involving a Rubber Band hasn't made it yet...

Depending on the wrestler taking the clothesline and how it's set up in the match, it's great. Sometimes it's more Clothesline from Hell than standard fare. He could cut down on setting up the move during matches. No more than 2 teases are needed.

It's the new 619. I wish they didn't have to put it into every single match.

He needs to stop flinging him into the ropes for no reason & hitting it. If he gets hit and falls, it's better. He also needs to be faster on the rebound, he just awkwardly falls back at the moment, McGuiness always looked like he was actually bouncing off the ropes.

It's wrestling. Everything is stupid. Shawn Michaels would stomp his feet and be heard in South Africa and his opponent would still turn around and get hit by SCM. Rey's opponents would always conveniently fall into the ropes to set up the 619. Same with top rope moves, the victim always puts himself perfectly in place.
Once you learn to accept this, you start enjoying wrestling again.

The one thing I hate about it is his legs don't go straight up in the air when he hits it. Too sloppy... if he tightened it up I'd be ok with doing it whenever.

It's going to quickly surpass the 619 in terms of a "forced move" because at least Rey normally didn't pull off the 619 multiple times for a normal match. He'd do it once towards the end.
I can almost guarantee that we'll have a singles match soon with a half dozen of those rebound clotheslines if it hasn't already happened.

It was stupid when Nigel McGuinnes did it, and it is stupid when Ambrose does it.

That's the thing with the Nigel Lariat. Sometimes, it looks great. Other times, it looks awkward, unnatural, and just really forced. With Ambrose and the way that WWE puts their matches together, it looks awkward more often than not.

I love Ambrose, but yes, he uses it way too much.
Look at Kyle O' Reilly. He does it once every other match on average.

Horrible move. Every time he does it I find myself rolling my eyes. Just way too slow and not smooth at all.

Its a good move to break out once in a while, but it is way overused right now.

I don't mind the move itself, but there are some matches where he's just spamming it, going for it about four times before the fifth one finally works. Yeah, he doesn't need to do it every match and multiple times. I like it overall though... especially since he tends to use it as a counter instead of just running back to hte ropes to do it. Also the most contrived move is still when Reigns tries to do the apron dropkick in singles matches.

I liked it the first couple of times I saw it, but now oh God I look away when he does it. I have front row to a live event in Peoria and I may startle people with my response when he undoubtedly does it.

It's stale but that throw-into-the-ring-from-outside-but-rotate-out and then hit that awful slow motion clothesline to the guy who HAPPENED to turn his back after throwing him in is the WORST.
