I hope Conrad never lent him any money. You know he did lol. He joined the owner of Highspots, Cary Silkin, haha he should've seen it coming.

Then he let it slip that he "used to like Flair." Finally, he let it slip that...you guessed it...he had loaned Flair money. He said referee Tommy Young was another who had loaned him money.

Never made a post on it but my view on Conrad is a complete 180 than what I said early on in the thread. Dude grew on me a LOT and always kept the show really on target. The fact this show isn't going to be a thing anymore is a shame.

It's kind of hilarious given how poorly they're run, but TNA seem to have been the only company smart enough not to give Flair any sort of loan or advance no matter how he tried to hold them up for one.

From Conrad's twitter, it just seems like Flair is too busy working the Charlotte angle to do podcasts for now.

Is Arn still not speaking to Ric, as was the rumor at a time? I imagine Flair's more stable now, focusing on the Charlotte stuff, than he had been for a while, but it seemed like for a time, every single time someone stuck their neck out for him, he f***ed it up and made a fool out of them. I recall hearing Flair pissed off Arn and his wife, and Arn washed his hands of Flair.

Ole described Flair's character perfectly, he's the only person that earns 100 dollars but spends a thousand, and this was since before he started with Crockett.
In his book Flair tells a story that before leaving AWA he asked Verne for money because he was broke, Verne told him no, maybe foreseeing the future.

Such a shame....easily my favorite wrestling podcast out there (maybe it's because I'm a Flair mark perhaps?), and Conrad really pairs well with him. Hopefully it comes back whenever he gets a free moment from being in the corner of Charlotte.

Someone asked Conrad on Twitter today if they'd ever have JR on the show and he said that someday they will.

That sucks. However, you could see it coming. Shows were getting pretty far apart. He is on the road full time now and I don't think he is tech savvy like Jericho and Colt to be able to do the show on the road.
What the hell does Conrad do, anyway? Seems like a money mark who paid his way into being Flair's buddy. I don't mean that in q bad way, I would buy all Ric's drinks to hang out with him.

While it's gone, I like listening back to the old shows. Just listened to the Kevin Sullivan episode and I think it's fair to say that some drinks were had before if not during that show

Another update
It was Conrad and Ric's decision to terminate the contract with CBS.
