These two are forever linked moreso due to the nWo and being the Outsiders. But while in the WWF, they had pretty similar careers with the exception of them giving Big D the big title. Who in your mind had the better WWF career? The whole package? Titles? Drawing ability? And so forth?
Razor Ramon:
(4) WWF Intercontinental Champion 2014 WWE Hall of Famer Notable Feuds: Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Diesel, Jeff Jarrett
Diesel:
(1) WWF Champion (1) WWF Intercontinental Champion (2) WWF Tag Team Champion 2015 WWE Hall of Famer
Notable Feuds: Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Bret Hart, Undertaker, British Bulldog, Mabel

I'm a huge fan of Razor Ramon, but I feel like Diesel had a higher peak. Razor has the ladder matches with Shawn and some other really solid bouts, but Diesel has the Bret series, the Shawn Good Friends, Better Enemies match, and some of the most memorable moments of that era (Royal Rumble 94 domination, beating Backlund in 9 seconds to win the title, winning all the titles in a year, the awesome worked shoot the night after Survivor Series 1995, the memorable Undertaker feud, just to name a few). Both were very solid but Diesel gets the slight nod.
Although, they both competed in one of the 5-10 best matches of the New Generation era with the Action Zone tag match in 1994 (Razor & Kid vs. Shawn & Diesel)

Diesel is the highest drawing WWF champion in history and one of the all time greats. Razor had a great run, but he wasn't close to Big Daddy Cool.

Razor had a longer run, he was more consistent (Scott Hall. Consistent.), and he was more over. Diesel won the belt off a knee-jerk call from Vince, and didn't have much of a reign. He only started hitting his stride on his way out.

He only started hitting his stride on his way out. I almost agree with this. Scott left at a point when it felt like he had nothing else to prove as Razor. Whereas Diesel's tweener character was pretty interesting once he lost the title. Still, that last period of time for Razor was pretty uninteresting. Shawn and Diesel had both lapped him, you had new more interesting characters in Goldust and Mankind. Truthfully, the Wrestlemania X ladder match felt like the beginning of the end in terms of what Razor could accomplish in WWE.

I voted Hall, mostly relative to his career. I think both of them had good WWF runs, and that while both had big WCW runs obviously, Nash had a better one.

Both had great WWF runs, but I give the nod to Hall.
Man, it's almost scary to imagine how good his career would have been if he'd managed to stay clean.

I think I have to give it to Da Bad guy. This may just be out of personal preference

Diesel went on to become Kane. What did Razor Ramon ever do?

Razor was certainly the better wrestler but if you're talking career I have to go with the main eventer Diesel.

Belts mean nothing to me, Ramon was the better character and overall better wrestler...so him. He was just great at what he did.

Gotta go Diesel; but it's not like Razor was anything less than say a step behind.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it: If Hall hadn't had his problems, he would probably be included in "all time best ever" discussions. No way can Diesel touch that. Razor Ramon all the way.

Clean, I can see the following: 1996 Royal Rumble Winner - Since Shawn already won in 1995, they go with super babyface Ramon getting his Wrestlemania win. 3 Time WWF Champion 6 Time Intercontinental Champion 3 Time Tag Team Champion - w/HBK, 123 Kid, Diesel 1995 King of the Ring Undisputed Ladder Match Guy Instead of it being Shawn

The person who got the strap obviously had a better career. Add in the fact he got a few later big(ish) pay days just from keeping his life in order, so was in the eye longer.
Who do I like better as a performer is a different answer though.

Razor, chico.
He should have been WWF champion during 1995, competing against Diesel of course.
