I'm sorry, am I the only person that's been watching NXT the past few weeks? They're all but christening him the future of WWE at this point. Hell, I don't doubt that the "Finn Bálor Arrives" slogan is marking a lot more than just his arrival in Japan.
Will there be hiccups? Of course, there are always hiccups, especially when you have to deal with the network and Kevin Dunn. But I don't know where this idea of them "ruining" Finn Bálor even came from.

Probably the fact that they've ruined Rusev, Bo Dallas, Adam Rose, Emma, Adrian Neville...

Bo doesn't count in my book either due to his injury. Adam Rose wasn't ruined by the WWE; Ray Leppan was. Big difference there. Russev isn't doing so hot right now, but I do think he's talented enough to at least salvage things. Emma... Can't argue that one. That's all on them. Honestly, this whole conversation is just one giant self fulfilling prophecy. We set our expectations ridiculously low and become so critical and negative so that when go to hell we can say "I knew that would happen! I'm glad I didn't care. Otherwise I'd be super disappointed right now."

Probably the fact that they've ruined Rusev, Bo Dallas, Adam Rose, Emma, Adrian Neville... I don't know how I feel about holding Finn to the same candle as guys like Adam Rose and Bo Dallas. I mean, most folks saw the Adam Rose/Exotic Express gimmick going nowhere, and Bo Dallas was never going to be much more than a meme. Emma, I'll give you, they definitely shit the bed with Emma. As far as Rusev goes, we'll see. I think his injury and this insipid Lana/Dolph storyline has the potential to hurt his stock, but so far all it has done is shown how good of a performer he is, especially compared to the self-proclaimed "Show-Off". The thing is, Finn came in as part of the "NXT 5", the guys that have a sort of coveted status as Triple H's pet projects. If anything, a better measure of how Finn would be handled on the main roster is how the other NXT 5 members called up before him have been handled, with Neville as a low mark and Kevin Owens as a high mark.

He'll make his entrance with the facepaint and commentary will just be casually listing his accolades in Japan with Cole using his dramatic fake baritone voice like he does during Undertaker or Brock Lesnar's entrances. I can just picture it now, and it's killing me. "Finn Balor! Here is a man who needs no introduction, he has created quite a stir in NXT lately, and it appears he's ready for a FIGHT tonight!" "HE'S WEARING THAT WAR PAINT MAGGLE, AH LOVE IT!"
