In the past four years, we've learned something about John Cena:
He has an annual quote of ONE clean job. Which one is your favorite?

Bryan at Summerslam. I was so shocked. Same here. I was so happy that Cena put Bryan over that huge.

Changed my vote from Bryan to Owens. Because the Bryan match, while huge, took a guy who the fans already saw as an upper mid card guy and took him to the top. With Owens he went from WWE rookie to beating the biggest name in the company and became legit like that. Bryan was never gonna fall below the upper-mid card, guy who can headline B level shows without the Cena win. Owens went from nothing in terms of WWE to at least that level.

Daniel Bryan. I was sure authority shenanigans was about to happen but the fact Cena lost cleanly to the debut of a brand new finisher was something special.

Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. Cena was absolutely squashed in the main event of the second biggest PPV of WWE's calendar. They could have easily done this match they way they did the following one, making it appear that Cena was actually the better man but Lesnar just got by. No, at SS he smooshed him.

Bryan. It really looked like they were ready to move on from Cena and their past ways and try something new and exciting with Bryan leading the way into a new era of WWE.
Then they f***ed it all up.

Daniel Bryan. It's the only 100% clean Cena loss that Cena went on to say "Yes, Daniel Bryan beat me, I am happy to admit that he was the better man, he earned my respect- and now, I'll happily step aside so he can get the WWE Title back."
All the other matches- even if Cena lost, 100% cleanly, then Cena went on to act like the 100% clean loss was dirty, controversial, and somehow the person cheated and it wasn't REALLY a fair loss even though it was.

Owens. I wanna say Bryan so badly but I knew some ole bullshit was going down when Triple H got involved in it.

Brock.
We needed that after Brock broke the streak. He needed not only a win, but a major wwin.
Bryan was nice, but having him lose a few minutes later showed that the company at the time had no faith in him and caused me to stop watching for 6 months.

The Rock. The match itself wasn't great, it's just that to me it was such a foregone conclusion that Cena would win that the last 20 seconds or so of that match were magical to me. When Cena tried to hit the People's Elbow, the mark inside of me screamed in indignation. "NO! NOT LIKE THIS! HE CAN'T LOSE TO HIS OWN MOVE! THAT'S AWFUL, NO! I KNOW HE HAS TO LOSE BUT--"
Then, as if to answer my inner mark, Rock stood up and hit his finisher on Cena. I couldn't believe it. THEN HE WON. And I was marking out like I was 9 all over again.
The smarkish part of my brain was going "I think this doesn't make any booking sen--" but my inner mark interrupted it, punched it in the face and screamed "IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!"
It was a stupid match, the ending made no sense, but HOLY SHIT I LOVED THAT SO MUCH.

He got his wins back against Rock and Owens. And Bryan lost immediately afterwards so I went with Brock. Yeah the match kinda sucked as it was completely one sided but Seeing Cena get squashed was shocking. And Brock needed it after Triple H killed his mystique the year before. Thankfully enough, The Streak restored it and Cena did the job.

Brock completely humiliated him repeatedly and Triple H, with great difficulty, beat him once, getting completely annihilated in most of that feud. If you lose your mystique by having one loss against one of the most credible and important main eventers of the last few decades, you never really had it to begin with.

The Lesnar loss was so frickin insane. I'd never have thought they'd ever do anything close to jobbing out their top guy like that.

I'm not really blaming Hunter. I'm just one of the few guys that thinks Lesnar should still be undefeated after his return. I absolutely hated Cena beating him in his first match and the Triple H feud was abysmal in my opinion. It used to be a match I wanted to see but in hindsight, I think I would have rathered if the roles were reversed.

Pfft.
Daniel Bryan. So easy. One of the greatest moments I've ever had as a fan, before The Authority ruined everything. I liked that win even more than Mania 30, because it was the EXACT RIGHT TIME TO PULL THE TRIGGER sorry I get irritated just thinking about it. They used that moment, the perfect crystallization of storyline build up, fan support, circumstance, it was all there...f*** it, it's all just to build up the new Triple H heel corporation crap.

Came in with every intention of picking Bryan...then I remembered that I think it's Brock and not even close...
