He had already nearly burned the bridge in the 1990s. They forgave him. Gave him a Hall of Fame induction and a DVD.
Then he tried to burn the bridge again. He reportedly parted with his Hall of Fame ring and said that he wanted to be taken out of the WWE Hall of Fame. Will WWE forgive him again?

Not sure what he does in NXT right now with the talent aside from recruiting, but if there's anyone that I would wanna see take Dusty's place, its Regal.

I wish when wrestlers left they would just leave. I'm tired of hearing about them on and off for the next 20-30 years.

Upon hearing the request, Vince McMahon was quoted as saying "nah, I'm straight brah."

Did anyone else think Crazy Ass Coot was referring to Ric Flair? Pick a name and someone would have thought it was them. I thought this was about Sting

Huh, thought he was supposed to be dead by now. Hope Vince and WWE don't even bother replying, give him the Sunny treatment.

He kind of sounds like a piece of human garbage, so I don't think he'd be a particularly good choice, not to mention he went about trying to get such a job in such an insulting manner.

Didn't he suggest Rollins to do steroids? We don't need this guy advising the next generation.

Like, I understand that he was WELL before my time(I'm 27) by at least a decade, but I've never understood the appeal of Superstar Graham. He was like a heel Hogan.....but somehow a worse wrestler? Or am I mixing up his in-ring skill with Jesse Ventura's? Either way...what on earth could he add to the NXT product? Oh he was GREAT. One can't deny his influence at all; dude deserves all the accolades for a great career. It's just that he's proven repeatedly he'll turncoat on people real quick for a buck or lack thereof.

That's fair. I'm perfectly willing to admit that my only exposure to him comes from the admittedly great matches on the Dusty DVD, and a couple of matches on a few mid-80's NWA things on the Network, so I'm not getting the fullness of his body of work.

It was a case too of his in ring stuff being by far the least important part of the package. Plus, you've just got to put him in context of the times he was in. He was less a heel Hogan than Hogan was a face him (and I was a HUGE Hulkamaniac). By that I mean, without Graham's persona, Hogan's woulda never existed either.

And how does he stand up against the other corner of that triumvirate, which I always picture as Jesse Ventura, who...I don't think I've ever seen a single actual match of.

Didn't he suggest Rollins to do steroids? We don't need this guy advising the next generation. Absolutely. In this generation we use completely different PEDs that the wellness test won't detect.

Very few people are going to have the ability to teach character work they way Dusty did.
Billy Graham is not one of those people....
Quite frankly, Jake Roberts is the only name coming to mind. Maybe Ted Dibiase Sr?

...I mean, maybe it's just me but the man hasn't even been dead for a full month. That's kinda messed up to be like "yeah, it sure is a shame that Dusty passed. ...Can I have his job please?" Especially after you talked all that bullshit about WWE talent. My first thought as well. What a scumbag. People like that don't even realize they're being scummy though, they just grime their way through life because that's how they've always done it, and always will.
