I don't think I've ever seen a wrestler that people are less willing to give credit for his own great matches than Bray Wyatt.

Nothing but solid matches? Are we referring to the Lesnar match and the Bryan match? That must be it. Also had what many were calling match of the night against Big Show and another great outing against Rollins, Ambrose and Orton. Not to mention he has done solid work since Mania on TV tapings and live shows It takes two people to put on a good match and despite your beliefs you couldn't have that same match against Lesnar. Despite the narrative trying to be pushed by some, if there is a good match it is because BOTH wrestlers performed well in the ring. Reigns has been in too many solid matches to say he was simply carried by Bryan and Lesnar. I do find it funny that before Mania many were saying that the match would suck because neither was a ring general and now that the match was exceptionally good the narrative has been changed to "it was all Lesnar". In reality both men did great work at Mania and both earned and deserved the "This is Awesome" chant towards the end of the match. The Mania match was very good and had a great "big match" feel to it. Also, even Daniel Bryan has had bad matches (see:Kane Casket Match). He didn't leading up to Mania and much of that was due to horrendous booking. Since then he has been getting pretty good response including getting the loudest pops in places. To an extent I agree you are totally wrong on this judged by the fact that he has gotten solid reactions since and on occasion has gotten the loudest pops of the night If that were true he wouldn't be selling more merchandise than anyone not named Cena or Ambrose. At the 3 live events I went to the 3 people you saw the most merch for was Cena, Ambrose and Reigns. No one else was even close. Possible. But I wouldn't call the sampling of one venue to be a good indicator of a wrestlers popularity especially since he has been getting very good responses since Mania. He's not on the level of Cena or Bryan but not one is claiming he is. Using your logic I can claim that Reigns is more over than Bryan (I would never claim this) due to the fact that he got a bigger pop in Texas and fans were chanting "We want Roman" when Bryan was in the ring. You may dislike the guy and thats fine but Reigns has done quite well since Mania. He still has a long ways to go but he is getting there. He also has not failed like so many either wanted or expected him to.

Chris Jericho has had 3 disappointing world title matches at WrestleMania. I'm a fan but I think there's something to that, though each one does have its own explanation.

I don't think I've ever seen a wrestler that people are less willing to give credit for his own great matches than Bray Wyatt. I'd say John Cena until right after MITB 2011. Like people were hell bent Cena was always carried to good matches by his opponents to the point they refused it was Cena who carried Khali in two good matches or Cena carried Lashley in a great match or it was Darren Young carried Cena in that good match on Raw. Hell I think Roman Reigns has it worse when they refuse he added anything into the weekly awesome Shield six man tag team matches.

He's been unlucky with injuries and bad booking but I feel Sheamus has never connected with the crowd as well as they hoped.

William Regal - Gets a main event push, takes drugs, gets caught, suspended, push gone. The Miz - "To vote for your favorite diva... *Looks up.* *Looks at hand* Call WWE.com... Go to WWE.com and vote... "Crowd: "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." To be fair to Regal, I'm pretty sure he was suspended for using PEDs, and he was probably using them before his big push. I'm not defending his drug use, I'm just saying. As for the Miz, I don't even know where to start. But his mom does. OOOOOOOHHHH!

Bray Wyatt not succeeding isn't his fault, it's Creative's. They give him nothing of substance to the point that even winning matches doesn't help him. I think the problem with Bray is that no one expects him to win a main event level feud. I am a big Reigns fan and have enjoyed their dynamic but in reality I fully expect Reigns to go over in the end. Maybe Bray will take the win on the next PPV but I fully expect Reigns to win the way. Nothing wrong with Reigns going over in their feud but to be an effective heel you really need people to believe that you have every chance at going over. Right now with Bray I don't see that sentiment really going around. It is a shame because I find he is one of the fresher (and better) talents in WWE right now.

Matt Hardy post Lita.
Dude was so over. He had everyone believing his whole angle was a shoot with Edge. It was great TV.
Then...The Promo.

As much as everyone shits all over "car crash" (and rightly so), he was still salvagable at that point. It was Byte This that killed him. Watch anything on the Network that covers Matt/Edge and it makes it clear. Lita just absolutely shit all over him. She tore apart all of his impotent rage and exposed him as the salty, bitter, clingy jealous dude who just can't get over hit, or over his own self-righteousness.

Everyone saw his terrible promo on RAW, which is what absolutely killed any momentum he had going.

Despite horrendous booking that could have killed his career, Reigns has had nothing but solid matches since the spotlight has been on him, not sure how he can be considered a choke artist in any sense of the word. Nothing but solid matches? Are we referring to the Lesnar match and the Bryan match? That must be it. If so, I can have a solid match with Lesnar if my agent wanted me to work that match. I just get thrown all over the ring and don't do shit until the end. A match against Bryan that goes any length of time is going to be solid in virtually any situation. Being pushed as a face and being booed in every one of those "solid" matches. Somehow faces the crowd actually liked at the time managed to go in and...continue being faces. Reigns didn't. His "horrendous" booking was only that he was booked as a face when people didn't want to cheer him. Nor do they now. They do sometimes on RAW in generic situations against people that don't matter just because it's a guy they recognize. We'll now watch him be booed against Bray Wyatt on PPV coming up. Look for him to get booed in the boo/yay punch exchange (the preferred scientific method on who is the face in a match =P) uhhh people cheer Reigns again...

WWE
If anyone chokes it's usually because they've been booked badly.
