Another nugget here to show just how irrelevant this vanity project has become.
From this week's Observer:
Now the actual feedback isn't what we need to focus on here. Let's compare to the quantity for ROH.
But even more damning is going to just 3 years ago.
Destination X 2012:
Now, the Observer audience is of course a super-niche of a niche genre's already niche online audience. But if only a fraction of the Observer audience can be bothered to follow a TNA PPV compared to ROH the same month or even TNA a few years ago, try to imagine what the buyrate's gonna be for thi show.

Maybe TNA should have paid for some extra F4Wonline accounts instead of Twitter followers for Bob Ryder.

The Observer feedback crowd is a committed bunch. To have most of group that watches wresting all the time give up on TNA is quite amazing.

Maybe if they actually did some build for the show on their TV show and put the one match on the show that people actually wanted to see - EC3, Angle - maybe some people would have actually watched the show.
But, they didn't want to do that.

I'm curious, what were the numbers for Slammiversary 2014 and Bound for Glory 2014?

I have a feeling we're never going to see Slammiversary buyrates unless someone leaks them.

It probably didn't help they were charging pay per view prices for what was essentially a throw away show.

I'm curious, what were the numbers for Slammiversary 2014 and Bound for Glory 2014? BFG 2014 did crazy terrible numbers IIRC (well, may not be crazy when you factor in everything about the show). Like, roughly 2,000 buys. Keep in mind that the average for TNA B shows used to be 20-25,000.

Going from 60,000 Lockdown 2008, to not even 5% of that.

Tenay: "That's all we got was 26 goddamn votes?"
Josh: "You can't say "goddamn" on the air."
Tenay: "Don't worry, nobody is watching anyways."

I'd be shocked if this even does that well, given they've lost half their audience in the DA switch and this one doesn't even have the Tokyo novelty to go on.

If TNA pay me, I'll write good reviews for Slammyfest or whatever it's called.
