Cena repeatedly beats Cesaro then tried to smooth it over with sweet nothings. They are the Ike and Tina of WWE.

How about we see a title change on Raw for once. I miss those days when titles would change hands on RAW and not just either on PPVs or on PPVs several several months down the line

How about do that on TV instead of a 1000th shot of the f***ing car. It's not Cena's job to get TV time for people. The only person responsible for getting Cesaro TV time is Vince. Cena did not have to do this at all and he deserves props.

Cena should come out next week and say that he has proof that he will put guys over and still has the ability to win over a hostile crowd no matter what critics may say. Then, show the speech he made to Cesaro, but during it, cut to scenes of fans crying during the Savage/Elzabeth reunion.

I hope this actually leads to something good for Cesaro.

It's on youtube. Type in "Cena Cesaro" and go by upload date and it's one of the first ones. Around 3 minutes long.

"Cena spent 10 minutes after the show telling Cesaro he's one of the best in the business and that it's only a matter of time before Cesaro gets the shot he deserves.
Crowd standing O'd Cesaro"
Cena told him "you were given an opportunity these passed two weeks, and you took the ball and ran with it better than anyone. I know it, these people know it, and everyone back there knows it."
Quotes from a dude I know who was there.

Who replace Cena with Bret Hart? Anyway, all meaningless. Don't get me wrong, Cena can mean every word of it but it doesn't mean shit to Cesaro's career. He's just a warm body for the announcers to gush over as he loses to the pushed. Yeah, I am bitter, that match pissed me off to no end. Sad part is, this isn't the first time this exact scenario has taken place, and it resulted in a negative for Cesaro. Remember Cena's "big moment of putting Cesaro over" to the live crowd that resulted in a thousand jobs and the complete neutering of everything that got him over in the first place? Like has been said, I'm sure Cena meant it, apparently they're pretty tight, but if you really mean it, and you really have enough stroke to do pretty much whatever you want (which Cena obviously does), then say it on the air, tell the tv audience, who is the audience that you're playing to on RAW, how awesome dude is. Otherwise, it's just drivel that doesn't go anywhere.

This is all well and good.
I'm hoping Owens is the one to beat Cena at Battleground, which leads to Cesaro beating Cena the following Raw in a number one contender match to face Owens at Summerslam for the US Title. They've already got a feud brewing between the two with Owens costing Cesaro the title victory last week.
Where that leaves Cena? dunno, but I'm interested to see him wrestle a fresh opponent heading into Summerslam.

I'm sure it'll work out great. Just like those times Neville keeps getting putting over by losing! If you add up all those times Neville has been put over with all these losses, he'll be main eventing mania in no time.

Owens pins Cesaro at Battleground, Cena is moved into the world title picture, and Owens pins Cesaro in the rematch."

Almost beat John Cena: Receive kudos from the face of the WWE?
Succeed in bearing John Cena: Endure 20 minutes of Cena poop-facing insults in a faux-southern accent.

Doesn't mean anything.
Call me cynical or whatever, it just seems like a way for Cena to put someone over without actually putting someone over. This is going to make me sound like Owens, but Cesaro doesn't need Cena's praise or approval.
I remember going to a Raw taping a few years ago and Wade Barrett was super over (it was in England). Guess who had to come out and get involved in his post-show speech? Cena. Why? No f***ing reason. It added nothing, Cena just couldn't resist sticking his beak in the matter. Either that or Vince insisted Cena had to be out there.
Either way, blegh.
