One of the axe shots to the roof took an awkward rebound and I really felt we were going to see the blade job of the year. Then he started on the tires. CARlessness!

It was insane. Somebody needs to get their ass chewed out hardcore for letting that whole train wreck of a segment get the green light.
Brock could have literally been killed. All that axe had to do was bounce back and spike itself into his head.

I couldn'f have been the only one thinking of Goldberg during this segment. I know which one you mean, but I am just picturing Sid jumping on a crumpled car. "Lesnar! LESNAR! LESNARrrrrrrrrr!"

i dont know why they gave him an axe even though it did look cool. Maybe because triple h is the only one to use sledgehammers

I don't know why he wouldn't just use a sledge hammer. You could see there was one in the box, and it would've done just as much damage and been slightly safer.

Brock could have literally been killed. All that axe had to do was bounce back and spike itself into his head. Immediately afterwards, Brock headed to the hospital and informed the doctors that he got a paper cut on his head.

It had to be an axe though. It was the perfect response to Seth and J & J coming out with axe handles! I mean they've built that up for months with those guys carrying axe handles everywhere and assaulting people with them.....oh....you mean they literally have never had axe handles ever before...?
Ok then. The axe thing was very stupid and unnecessarily dangerous.

Brock Lesnar accidentally killing himself with an axe on live TV. I can only imagine what the news shitstorm would have looked like.

Just watched it on YouTube. Who thought that was a good idea? Literally the first thing Brock did was get one of the axes stuck in the car door and have to go find the other one after struggling like a goof to dislodge it.
Hell, the only bit I thought was cool was when he ripped the rear door off with his bare hands.

Yes using axes was unnecessarily over the top and dangerous but indeed that was what made it awesome. Brock being a completely uncaring, wrecking machine is what makes the gimmick work, though I doubt they will hand him any further lumberjack parefenalia in the near future or indeed allow him to throw any automotive debris towards the WWE Universe.
Brock Lesnar is a human Street Fighter 2 bonus level.
