That was an AWESOME finale. It doesn't seem like many people on this board are into the show. It's a shame because tonight's episode was really, really good.
Strand has the potential to be a great character.

Started off with a mediocre pilot but I am glad I stuck around to watch it. Great first season, goosebumps during that finale as well. Strand is such a sketchy character already

Great season finale. Great first season overall to be honest. My only complaint is we haven't seen the napalm I was hyped up ready to see the air force unleashing napalm on the zombies and it didn't happen. I felt like Milhouse waiting for the firework factory. That aside, great series and a great finale. Strand is awesome, I'm fully expecting him to abandon the family as soon as they can't help him anymore.

Decent finale doesnt make up for cliche after cliche.
That was my problem with this show. It did absolutely nothing original with it's stock characters and the couple of interesting characters they did put forward are just total c***s you want dead asap.

I like the idea of Strand becoming the ultimate anti-hero, but where does that leave Daniel.

Put my review of the finale up on the main site. www.freakinawesomenetwork.net/2015/10/fear-the-walking-dead-s1e5-the-good-man/I mostly enjoyed the finale but boy was it a huge misstep to have everyone seem to be perfectly fine with Daniel sending in hordes of zombies to a MEDICAL FACILITY. I do love Strand and I'm really hoping he just becomes the main character of the show make him the Barnabus Collins of this show where he just takes over.

Yeah, they basically murdered everyone.... the soldiers, medics and the ill and they were all ok with that? Maddie I could buy since she hasn't shown to be too moral, Chris maybe. But Travis, nah, he's a moral guy. He wouldn't even let Daniel kill one soldier so can't buy him been ok with murdering dozens. Same as Ophelia. The sister no idea since she has no character. Plus, the medical facility didn't seem evil. They were at least trying to heal people like Daniels wife.
