As I mentioned earlier, when I'm in the UK, I see quite a few TNA t-shirts around in public. Hell, even saw a guy with an Abyss t-shirt, which served as one lonely, solitary counterpoint to my constant ragging upon that character.

I don't think TNA fans will ever turn to NXT. For that you need to buy the WWE network. It's like asking a WCW fan in 1999 to turn on ECW and to do that you need to buy WWF programming.
TNA will always be in a particular position cause a lot of people like it for "main event wrestling" but won't get into WWE's corporate product. So you won't turn them into Lucha Underground or ROH or NXT fans. They want big stars but not the WWE kind. I figure the X Division fans have left a long time ago.
Personally I try watching most of what is available out there but I will watch Impact till it dies cause it offers something that is between an indy fed and a big fed. And cause guys will Storm and Roode are still among my favorites. Sometime it feels like people over here have gone completely bitter on TNA and use it for laugh. But I view it as a TV show and it's watchable.

I initially thought TNA fans consisted of a large portion of older WCW fans who never liked WWE's entertainment style. Crockett holdovers. It makes sense, as TNA came up about a year after WCW (or 6 months if you count the Invasion, and I'm sure not many do) and had a lot of WCW guys headlining, as well as older names and faces. Plus TNA in the early years was a haven of good workers putting on good/great matches. Final Resolution 2005 is still in my top 10 PPVs of all time. I had 4 matches during that show have me on the edge of my seat, which is not an easy task. I could definitely see a lot of ex-WCW fans seeing another alternative to WCW that showed promise to last a while and go somewhere and calling it 'home.'
And then I discovered Youtube.

Lol I was checking tnamecca and I kid you not, about 90% of them are pissed about the incompetence shown after the Hernandez deal, like they were saying that Ryder better explain it the next time he has a q&a. And most of them pretty much admitted that TNA was dying.

No he didn't. He is still around talking about TNA. At least in FAN he isn't, he dissapeared after Dixie went through a table. Trust me he hasn't given up. He is out there at other places. Doesn't matter he was just a sock puppet of a known IWC troll. Surprised he lasted as long as he did here and the other place.

I would watch TNA if I actually had Destination America, but this is pretty much the reason I wish TNA could get a miracle and continue on. I think there needs to be a product for fans (and as well as a destination for workers) that isn't as pure wrestling based as RoH, but isn't WWE.

Yea all these talks about posters saying "so what if TNA dies, the internet is full of free shows and you have NXT and Lucha and ROH" pretty much don't get it. Bu I figure they only watched TNA for the X Division. TNA is really the alternative to what WCW used to be. Main Event wrestling that is not WWE. So if you want to see that, there's only one place and it's TNA.

I watch it. Mostly for Spud, but yeah I watch it. Been watching since the beginning. Sometimes I'll take breaks and then binge watch. Once they stopped doing PPV's regularly and weren't really building to anything it was a bit tougher. I avoid talking about it just b/c it makes me really sad. I do hope that GFW can salvage what's left of TNA from its ashes. I never thought it would actually die. But Dixie proves herself inept time and time again. Vince may be a short sighted creative non-genius surrounded by yes-people, but at least he understands how to promote and run a business from a logical standpoint. Even if it means being ridiculous and ruthless. Dixie saves her ridiculousness for backstage promos cut on the talent and aired for the world to see, and also Twitter. I honestly think that her parents are like "Dixie ride this out, play dumb, string it along, we need to move the money we have laundered in this company to the next one...keep it going as long as you can!"
