Meh, it is what it is.
I was mainly watching for that one match too, but the bonus divas match delivered, I wasn't too in to Cena/Owens because I was getting so hyped up for Lesnar/Rollins but they gave us a very good live event already at the start this month and I've watched some old nitros on the network and a few other bits and pieces so feel like I've gotten more than my $10's worth.
Plus like has already been said the crowd loved it more than anything else. It's The Undertaker showing up at a time of year other than mania season seeking to avenge the ending of the streak so it's a huge deal.

Somewhere in his house, MagicOnz hears an ominous BONG sound... Hopefully he doesn't drive after he gets high.

Well, good for those cats in the crowd. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here having spent 3 hours watching this shit in my living room feeling all salty. I'm in my bedroom and it's 4am! I really enjoyed the show to be honest, I thought all the matches were at the very least decent and the shenanigans didn't bother me but I respect that you didn't enjoy it quite as much! I feel like Bo Dallas in the following gif and the majority of the forum is Cesaro I actually thought this was a good show on the whole. I had fun watching it. It's just that the last match caused the show to end on a sour note for me.

Especially when all the advertisements were like this: It really seems fishy. Was this a free month for new people again?

Owens vs. Cena was a really good match, it just had a disappointing finish.
The ending of Lesnar vs. Rollins though was horrible. It should have waited until after the match.
Who else is going to wrestle Rollins for the title?
-Reigns lost to Wyatt -Lesnar is going to feud with Taker -Kane vs Rollins is something you do on Raw, not a PPV
The only choice that makes sense post Battleground would be Super Cena.
I like Rollins, but his title reign is headed nowhere. They might as well have put the title on Lesnar going into Summerslam.

How the hell are they making any money with these free month deals? It seems like every other month is free.

If you were like me and watched that PPV just to see Lesnar/Rollins, congratulations! You have just been f***ed by WWE! Absurd. Not only did we not get a finish, WE GOT LIKE 5 MINUTES OF ACTUAL ACTION. Total bait-and-switch. Even if I didn't hear the rumors, this would have been a bad ending. And this is why I just kind of frowned every time I saw that Anticipation Station thread listed. Should be used to it by now, deflating hopes is all WWE's done the past couple of years.

Hopefully this is the last time we see a PPV called Battleground because they've all been garbage.

The 15,000(or whatever there was) fans chanting for Undertaker louder than they did anything else all night (and they were generally a hot crowd) didn't seem too upset and they certainly paid more than a tenner. They also live in StL, so I don't trust their judgment . Beside, surprise returns of legends always get that reaction, especially when the rest of the show is shit. I thought the show was solid and the crowd was into it. All of the matches were good.

Brock threw around Seth like a ragdoll. He fought back with everything he had and didn't make a dent. Brock was about to finish him and ... lights go out. Not in real life in a shoot, not by any stretch of the imagination by the way the two have been booked should anything else have been expected. If anything, it went too long with Seth able to take more punishment than he should have. Sorry: Brock ends the streak, Brock ragdolls Cena, Brock is the scariest, most real threat of anyone on the roster ... he's not going to go life-and-death with a chickensquat heel champ who hides behind the Authority and his security team. To book this any differently (unless it was Brock finishing Seth off and winning the title back) would have been horrible booking.

Well, they were offering the damn thing for free so I shouldn't be too surprised Every month is free now to new subscribers like Netflix and Hulu does.

How the hell are they making any money with these free month deals? It seems like every other month is free. Same as Hulu, Netflix and the like, rope them in and hope they either forget to cancel or like it. I do think having the free months seem more special or rare helped more than just having a free trial period though .

I can't stand 'Taker so couldn't care less about him returning.
Besides, I can't shake the feeling that he's going to avenge his loss to Brock...

I honestly marked out for Taker's return, but I'm still really pissed that the match I've been waiting for for months didn't even get half the time it deserves.

Rollins is such a paper champion. If anything this shows how even more bullshit it is that he's champ. He's being booked as if anyone who beats him now truly deserves the title but given his wins it won't mean much. Let's look at them shall we?
Extreme Rules - shenanigans (Kane and J&J) Payback - shenanigans (Kane and J&J) Elimination Chamber - shenanigans (Kane and J&J by DQ) Money in the Bank - sorta shenanigans (title fell out of Ambrose's hands as they hit the floor) Battleground - shenanigans (Taker)
If anyone beats Rollins it won't be a major accomplishment, it'll just be a trade off considering he would have lost the title by now had it not been for bullshit. He's a paper champion.
So annoying.

To book this any differently (unless it was Brock finishing Seth off and winning the title back) would have been horrible booking. I so totally disagree. To me, this was a cop-out match. The story should have been Rollins, the chickenshit champion, doing literally everything he could to beat Brock. You pretty much have to make the match No-DQ to tell it effectively but you can craft a good, long (certainly longer than what we got tonight) story based off that where Rollins is running through his entire moveset, doing low-blows, rakes to the eyes, belt shots, chair shots, literally everything he can think of but he just can't put Brock away. Brock still looks strong because he's Brock F'N Lesnar and kicks out of everything under the sun. Finally, after a long battle, THEN you do the non-finish. What they did here was a Raw angle. There's no other way to put it. I don't feel satisfied, I don't feel like I saw a compelling story play out. I feel like I got screwed, simply put.
