No, I groaned aloud when I saw him. He's aged terribly and every time he shows up, I lose some of the respect I used to have for him. He was fine during his run but I don't need to see him 1-2 times a year making a current superstar his bitch for reasons that don't make sense to anyone.
Retire, enjoy your life with your hot wife and please stop making appearances where no one looks good.

Well, I can't hate watching Taker, he is my favourite of all time. I hate the fact that a match I've been waiting for for 6 months and which was already showing a lot of promise was killed less than 9 minutes into it. What irritates me even more is that, I believe, the PPV finished around 15 minutes early. Why didn't you use that time in the match and than do the whole taker thing ? It makes zero sense to me.

I was until I realised he was just going to be using his deadman schtick as per usual. I know it was silly of me to think he'd do anything else but I kind of thought that he might have changed with the times and gone the Big Evil route, getting real and MMA Gloving up to take Lesnar on in a fight rather than a traditional "match". Still I guess I should have realised it would never happen with WWE pretty much completely ignoring that part of his career in recent years.
Still the big ass pull apart with Lesnar was pretty cracking so I'll wait and see. Right now I'm meh.

While there is a certain sense of nostalgia, he cut one of the worst promos I've seen in a good long while on Raw. Couple that with the fact that he's visibly broken down and looks every bit his 50 years and then some, he just doesn't have a place on the show for me any more as that character.

That was one of the all time worst PPV endings I have ever seen. When they did a close up on Undertaker's face he looked like an old guy in a retirement home who was getting impatient waiting for his medication. Plus, what exactly is the motivation here? It's been over a year and he has wrestled someone else during that time. What's he gonna say? "You beat my streak and I stayed home for a year just letting it haunt me so then I came back and beat Bray Wyatt because.... Umm, reasons, and then I could have attacked you in the main event I guess but I was a bit tired after the said Bray beating so I rested another 3 months or so and NOW IS THE TIME!" Seriously, I can suspend disbelief for a lot of things in wrestling, but an old man beating someone with the aura that Brock Lesnar has now is not one of them. The justification the next night on Raw bugged me the most really. I was happy to see him, and was like "oooh continuity!" then "oooooh Heel turn???!" but then to come out and say "you talked about it over and over" even though they really haven't as much lately, and then like you said he had an entire "feud" with someone and a year and a half to do nothing about it. Woulda made more sense to do this at last years WM as a rematch. Had Taker come out on Raw and did a full heel turn being like "you beat me, it pisses me off, I kicked you in the nuts and cost you a championship. what are you going to do about it now?" I would have been happier.

On a side note, this may very well be Undertaker's retirement match, provided he's going to be forced to retire if he takes 16 German Suplexes.

Yeah, he's the Undertaker.
He'll always be awesome.
