I like these, especially how you're even-handed and not just bitching about everything or saying how it's so much better than today's CRAP or whatever.

Didn't they bill Razor as being Cuban? I only ask because they made note of the fact that no champions would be American if Martel won the IC belt, roundabout acknowledging that Razor is American. Not that it really matters, just interesting to see these little slips in kayfabe.

Man, they destroyed Tatanka for Borga. At least for the time it felt like Borga had a push worth keeping the undefeated streak for. Tatanka had his streak going for months and was barely in any interesting programs post-Mania IX (where they probably should have given him the IC title)

Borga was MMA like guy, legit tough. Tatanka was a deserving IC champion and those should have squared off for IC title sometime down the road. This happened way too early for both of them, Tatanka should have crowned the streak with the belt and Borga needed at least one proper feud to demonstrate his invincible strength before going h2h with Tatanka.

I was a huge Tatanka fan and wasn't happy when he lost. After Wrestlemania, he was feuding with Bam Bam and I'm not sure why.

Oh I was 8, so I was devastated, but Borga looked like the toughest guy on the roster. I was a huge Tatanka fan and wasn't happy when he lost. After Wrestlemania, he was feuding with Bam Bam and I'm not sure why. It was complicated but there was logic. Tatanka was with Sherri at Wrestlemania, Sherri was feuding with Luna, who brought got her main squeeze to ambush and scalp Tatanka on Superstars. But Sherri was gone by this point. Considering Tatanka was only with her because Marty Janetty was fired after the Royal Rumble, that feud was essentially an extended substitute Marty v HBK one.
