After nothing but retweets for 3 days he just posted this for everyone to speculate with and read too much into: Some one said this I don't know the whole thing is saddening for a number of reasons. I don't care what he did in the past, I love Hulk Hogan and this makes me very sad. I honestly think he has some sort of mental problem.

Hulk Hogans press statement tomorrow. "I nominated Josh. Not Patrick."

If this has ensured anything, it's that we'll all be reminiscing about when Horace Hogan slammed the 7000 pound Giant in a few years.

He was being rumoured for Celebrity Big Brother the other day.
I doubt this will make much difference to that, in fact the controversy is probably a good thing from Channel 5's perspective.

One of the rumors I'm seeing now is that he dropped the n-bombs in a deposition for the gawker case.
Seems stupid enough to be true.

I'm all thinking of is CB4's "I'm black y'all" video except it's Hogan repeatedly dropping the n-word.

Does WWE think that scrubbing him from their site is going to make any lick of difference? He's *Hulk Hogan*. Nobody's going to hear "Hulk Hogan did something terrible" and NOT think of WWE. Nobody's going to go "Hulk Hogan? Oh, you mean the reality TV dad, pasta mogul, and star of such films as Suburban Commando."
If this is true, guess it sheds a bit more light on why Hogan was so intent on burying that tape...

The saddest part of all this is there won't be a silver lining by way of uniting the forum through a mutual love of fried chicken.

It is not WWE trying to break that connection to Hogan strange as it seems, it is WWE saying "Hey, when we found out, we got rid of him. We don't tolerate that and it doesn't matter who you are, it is not acceptable", they want to create a belief that WWE is better than what Hogan allegedly did.

Urgh, Hogan was my hero as a child.
With Tough Enough, I felt he's at an okay place, he comes across well on the show and hasn't really done anything to embarrass himself.
Now this. f***ing hell, I really don't want to NOT like the guy.

Perhaps it's just Vince's usual over-reaction. I mean, firing him from Tough Enough, halting sales of his merch, and cancelling his current deal would have gotten that point across. Scrubbing nearly all mentions of him (including changing Curtis Axel's profile) makes them look they're covering their own backsides.

Starting Monday the WWE will do everything in their power to say Cena's eclipsed him in every way without bringing his name into the equation. They'll say something like "Cena is so strong he'd be able to body slam Andre 3 times in 10 seconds" and crap like that. "Cena took down the strongest force in wrestling history, the Nexus".
