I'll start by saying I actually really like Sheamus.
However, I just don't see how in the current product/direction he could be Champion. He was losing somewhat regularly and had no real feud, so him winning was a shock to me.
I honestly think he'll be the 3rd(?) to cash in and lose after Reigns(?) wins the title to cement his victory and make him look that much better.

Just fell asleep while imagining this. To which the crowd vehemently replies "Yep."

Not really, to me he seems like a relic from a bygone era. Which is odd because there are guys that have been around longer than him that don't feel so out of place.

I love Sheamus, especially in his new heel gimmick, but right now WWE is flooded with guys that are fresher and more over than him. And the last thing WWE needs right now is another heel world champion, especially a weaselly chickenshit one like Sheamus was when he was last champion as a heel.

Again, with smart booking and use of character, he'll be awesome so yeah.

Only if he feuds with Randy Orton for the belt.

I'd be okay with it. Sheamus is awesome when used right.

I definitely could, especially as a heel authority champ continuing the heel authority champ snoozefest they're going to move on with for the next few years.

Sadly. He's somewhat young, well liked, is part of a major movie soon to be released and has MITB. He can easily be a short term guy for them.
I really should like the guy but there is something about him that makes me tune out.

I'm sure the solution to saving Raw's ratings is to put the belt back on Sheamus of all people.

I have a tough time seeing it despite him having the briefcase. Even with the heel turn and the new look, he just seems very yesterday news at this point and I say that as a fan of the guy. With the influx of new heavily pushed talent over the last few years (the Shield guys, Bray Wyatt, Rusev, Kevin Ownens), the fact that he's still in a pretty prominent role on the card is surprising to me.

I just feel like we're in dire need of a face champion right now. People get tired of the heel running rough shot over people after a while.
Reigns is who I'd pick, but I feel like it might backfire...there's just no one who makes sense at the moment.
