Aside from the awkward spot where Austin completely zoned out, this interview was fine.

I don't know what you guys saw, I thought it was hilarious watching Stone Cold try to keep up with Paige. I'm fairly certain he caught only about 40% of what she said the whole hour, and that may be generous. But I'm a sucker for a good old awkward conversation and this was an hours worth. Content wise, I'm glad Austin brought up her family's wrestling history. I knew her mom was a wrestler, but to hear her talk about her upbringing in the industry was interesting. Road stories are always good, and Dusty telling her she was the only person to ever call him a mf'er and get away with it was great

It's a shame but I find her more and more unlikeable the more I see of her.

Terrible podcast. No chemistry between the two, Paige wouldn't slow down her speech, Austin was uninterested and didn't know what she was talking about half the time -- dreadful. This is the first time I couldn't sit through one of these podcasts. I realise not every guest can be as big as Vince or HHH ... but Paige? A monumental drop and she shared nothing of interest to justify her being on the show. If you missed it, here it is in gif form. A little context for what's the story she's relaying

A little context for what's the story she's relaying Paige jokingly said she was just going to do a run-in if she doesn't get booked for WM, but Austin either zoned out or didn't quite catch it. He asked her to repeat it, Paige asked what she should repeat and AUstin quickly changed to another subject.

It was fun, but Paige was better with Jericho, mainly because Jericho's worked with the Knight Family and had an experience of what Paige lived through in that regard. Putting a 22 year old British girl with a 50 year old Texan showed up both cultural and generational differences. And Paige is getting too American, with all the "likes" and saying "gas station". Liked how she confirmed that the story in Daniel Bryan's book was about her family, when he tried to leave things anonymous to an extent.Anyway, what the show did was confirm that Austin interviewing Saraya Knight on Unleashed would be BUYS. Can you jog my memory on this? I read Bryan's book and don't recall this at all.

Can you jog my memory on this? I read Bryan's book and don't recall this at all. Bryan was talking about his first show in England, which was with All Star Wrestling in Croydon, which is near London. He gets there late, and walks backstage, and sees two men beating up another man, who then dangle that man by his feet out of a window. Whilst this is going on, Bryan says hello to everyone, as is customary to do in a locker room, and didn't think anything of it (the people in question doing the beating up even said hello back to him). Bryan then worked three matches in a tournament, and after he was done, everyone kept apologising to him, and he didn't know why, thinking they were apologising for making him work three times in one day, when he said he was used to doing that in America. It was only on the drive to the next town when he was told they were apologising for having to see a legit backstage attack. Bryan stated in the book that the people involved in the incident were "relatives of a current WWE Diva", but since it was in England, it was clearly obvious he was referring to Paige. So Paige confirmed on the Austin podcast that the people involved were her dad Ricky Knight and her older half-brother Roy Knight. She didn't really seem all that distressed about it, though...

Not as bad as I expected, actually the stories about her family were pretty entertaining. She definitely was talking fast and then when they went to talking about Dusty she slowed down and got more comfortable. I do think it was odd to put Paige on after setting such a high bar with Vince, HHH and Heyman.
But I gotta admit, Austin seemed like he really lost interest at the end, the WM part was golden. The ending was even more awkward, just checked out the others and he is usually talking until the fade out. HHH was the only other to cut audio out before the fade out(well sort of)and they were still talking joking around. Instead, Austin looked at her with his slightly open, not looking the happiest sort of like what the hell just happened. Paige looks back smiling, they she says something and then Austin just looks unhappily down at the desk as it fades away.

Those last 5 minutes were so awkward, Austin just completely zoned out.
