The following contest is our main event of the evening, and is for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship!FightFor the first and only time, a WWE wreslter will go one on one with a WCW wrestler, and we couldn't have picked a better representative than this man, Kevin Owens!Owens beat all three members of The Shield, Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins, to get his spot in tonight's main event. It's not one he's going to waste.*coin drop*RainmakerMeanwhile, Okada is WCW's representative. He defeated Alexander Rusev and Randy Orton to get his shot, and he looks like a man on a mission tonight. One of the best wrestlers to come from Japan in the 21st Century is making his way down the aisle. And now he's one win away from being the undisputed best in the world. The two face off as Charles Robinson raises the NWA World Heavyweight Championship high. Introducing first, in the corner to my left, representing WWE, from Marieville, Quebec, Canada, weighing in tonight at 266 pounds, KEVIN OWENS!Owens gets in Okada's face, to loud boos, before being moved back to his corner. And his opponent, in the corner to my right, representing WCW, from Anjo, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, weighing in tonight at 236 pounds, "The Rainmaker", KAZUCHIKA OKADA!Okada does his trademark pose to another chorus of boos, before sneering at Owens and returning to his corner. This is it: never before and never again. WWE vs. WCW! Who will walk away with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship?NWA World Heavyweight Championship Kevin Owens vs. Kazuchika Okada 20 Minutes (6:05)

Owens with The Family Matters!
It's the old Samoa Joe technique, where Okada goes for a high flying move, and Owens simply walks away, sending Okada crashing to the mat.
Owens follows this up by shrugging his shoulders and saying, "did I do that?"

Kazuchika with a special summon of Hiroshi Tanahashi, who breaks off an actual electric guitar over Owens' head.

Vader.org has rendered his verdict. He says...
Kazuchika Okada with the Dime Dropper DDT!
The two feel each other out, neither man making a move at the other, before locking up. Both men try to gain the edge over the other, and it seems Okada does just that, maneuvering Owens into a headlock. He shoots him off the ropes, kitchen sink knee! Cover from Okada.
1!
Kevin kicks out.
It'll take much more than that to put Owens away, but it's a start. Neither of these men will go down easily, Michael.
Okada stays on top of the bigger man, starting to rain down with a series of punches to Owens' face. The referee gives him the count of five, and Okada breaks off, before covering again!
1!
Owens kicks out again!
There is something to be said for persistence though, and if Okada can make Kevin waste energy in the early going, it only plays to his favor.
Okada lifts Owens up and throws a kick at his back, but it doesn't seem to phase Kevin...
Uh-oh.
Kevin turns around and flattens Okada with a big lariat! Okada gets back up, only to run into a second! Owens scoops Okada up, backbreaker! Cover!
1!
Okada kicks out!
And Owens suddenly exploding with a flurry of offense here. Okada's now playing catch up!
This time it's Owens who stays on the attack, pummeling Okada with a series of stomps and punches. He bounces off the ropes, leg drop! Another cover.
1!
Okada kicks out again!
Even though the onslaught is coming, Okada remains resilient. He needs that tenacity if he intends to win tonight.
Kevin yanks Okada up and sends him off the ropes, perhaps looking for the powerbomb early, but Okada catches him with a kick to the face, staggering Owens! He grabs him around the head, elevated DDT!
Owens got a bit too comfortable there, and he just paid the price.
Okada covers!
1! 2!
Owens kicks out!
Okada lifts Kevin up and tries for the German Suplex, but Owens won't budge! He tries a second time to the same result. A third attempt doesn't come to be, as Owens goes behind and plants him with a bridging German of his own!
1! 2!
Okada kicks out!
The technical chops of Owens coming into play there! He nearly had this one.
Owens goes for a suplex, but Okada manages to trip him up. He gets on his back and gets him in a position not unlike the Camel Clutch, but flips onto his back, trapping Owens!
1! 2!
Kevin kicks out!
Okada utilizing the Gedo Clutch, paying tribute to his mentor and sometimes-manager overseas. Nearly managed to secure the win, too!
Okada tries to throw Owens into the corner, but Kevin throws him himself! Running back elbow sends Okada to the ground, and Owens follows with a cannonball senton! Cover!
1! 2!
Okada kicks out!
And now Owens is rolling again! Okada will need to do something quickly if he wants to turn things around.
Owens climbs to the top rope and dives for the Swanton, but Okada rolls out of the way!
My word! A catastrophic miscalculation by Owens! And Okada is going to take advantage!
Okada grabs the legs, Red Ink locked in!
Red Ink! One of the deadliest holds in the world is locked in, and Owens may be trapped!
Owens yells out in pain, but slowly starts to drag himself to the turnbuckle. He pulls himself up onto the bottom turnbuckle, starting the count of five...
Wait, what's Owens doing?
Kevin drops backwards, crushing Okada beneath him and forcing him to break the hold!
And the ring awareness of Owens just saved his life in this match! Fantastic counter!
Both men slowly stagger to their feet...
Kevin signals for the end and shoots Okada off the ropes. He pops him up, but Okada catches him with a dropkick on the way down!
WOW! What a counter from Okada! But he needs to capitalize on it right now!
Okada wastes no time in lifting Owens up. He grabs him from behind and spins him around, Rainmaker!
That's going to be it!
Okada covers!
1! 2! 3!
Here is your winner, and the NEW NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, KAZUCHIKA OKADA!!
And after a phenomenal match, WCW's Kazuchika Okada is the NWA World Heavyweight Champion! Fantastic showing from both of these men! But the question is, how will Triple H respond to WCW claiming the richest prize in the game? We'll find out this Friday, but until then, for William Regal, this is Michael Cole signing off!
Okada poses with the belt as confetti rains from the ceiling. On this, SummerSlam fades to black.

Excellent show everybody. A great kick off for the first of what I hope many pay per views to come.
Now that we've officially been around for a month I'd like to go ahead and post some thoughts on the people so far who have been a personal highlight for me. I'll pick five from WWE and five from WCW.
WWE
Samuel Shaw: Easily the guy right now whose had the most effort put into his stuff. I never saw much of the actual Samuel Shaw, but Lodi is doing a great job making him come across as a creepy yet well-meaning psychopath. I'm already looking forward to seeing what else comes from this guy.
The Young Bucks: Spartan is doing a fine job so far portraying these guys and their sheer jackassery. They have yet to wrestle so far, but I have no doubt that once they do there will be plenty more great promos coming from them.
King Barrett: SnS is always a guy I can rely on for good promos, and so far he's doing a perfect job portraying the good king. He's taking the best aspects of both Bad News and King Barrett and even a dash of classic Wade, and mixing them together quite well in my opinion. He's definitely one to watch here in WWE.
Austin Aries: Another guy whose been responsible for some great promos in my book so far. Hayden is always somebody who you can count on to deliver when it counts, and Aries is proof positive of that. I can see great success for him if he stays consistent during his title run.
Drew Galloway: Waffel has been wanting to write for Drew for a long while, and so far I'd say he's delivering pretty well. He's got a solid direction and now with this new alliance with Ambrose I'm quite intrigued to see where it all goes. Hopefully he can find some great success soon as well.
Honorable Mentions Damien Sandow Jimmy Jacobs Roman Reigns Seth Rollins Leva Bates and Mia Yim
WCW
Kazuchika Okada: Brainbustaaah has always had a problem with consistency, but it seems like with Okada he's really all in with him. And it shows in those promos. Honestly every promo I've seen from him so far is a winner. I sincerely hope he keeps it up because I would love to see the Rainmaker continue to flourish.
Finn Balor: I'll admit when I first heard that Spartan was going to make Finn a heel I was a little skeptical. So far though he's doing a great job making him into an unlikable prick. I can't help but want to see Nic Nemeth get some well-deserved revenge on him, which I'm sure will be coming at some point. Another guy I can see great things for in the future.
Fat Chance: I love Fat Chance... just an amazing dynamic and group. The fat guys who hate being judged for being... well, fat guys. Plus the name is great too. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more from these three, and I'm sure they'll do quite well here if they keep it up.
Tyler Breeze: Double H is picking up where he left off with Prince Pretty, and once again he's delivering. Every promo I've seen from him has been spot on with what I'd expect. Another great heel who does a fine job with making you despise him. I look forward to seeing more from him very soon.
Eva Marie: Of all the women I've seen so far, Eva Marie is probably the best of the bunch. Don't get me wrong, I like Bayley too, but Eva is another great portrayal. Just a stuck-up snobby diva whose completely delusional. Those characters almost always work, and SnS is doing well. Plus this dynamic with her teaming with Bayley intrigues me quite a bit. I can't wait to see how things progress between those two.
Honorable Mentions
Jack Swagger Nic Nemeth New Day Curtis Axel The Wyatt Family

Given it some thought. I've been a lot more busy because of school, and if I kept my workload the same I'd likely just wind up burnt out like I did before. So I'm gonna drop Velvet Sky.
