For an hour or two there, Matt Hardy was the most over he's been in five years. Then came the reveal. It took a bad monkey suit and not knowing it was him for fans to like Matt Hardy again. Did someone seriously complain about being spoiled on who the identity of Bigfoot was? To my knowledge, not yet, but rules are rules and spoilers until airing are spoilers. I just really don't want someone in the future using this as an example of inconsistency with how we enforce those. It's all good, I was just messing around. I figured it had to be changed for those reasons.

I didn't watch Impact or read the spoilers so I have no idea if this actually happened or is something you all made up.

I made this in 2012. How is it more relevant now?

We shouldn't be upset about Matt Hardy being Bigfoot, because I think the spoilers thread taught us all a very important lesson about friendship, and maybe the real Bigfoot is the friends we made along the way.

I just took it as them mocking Destination America. The most WTF thing about it to me was Jeff Jarrett killing GFW before it started.

- Brian Myers
- PJ Black
- Trevor Lee
- Lei'D Tapa
- Chris Masters
Not much of an invasion force right? He left pretty much all of the real heavy hitters at home and kept them away from the Impact Zone, because Jarrett knew that TNA would screw up. This way, he can promote GFW by having the mid and top carders in TNA take on the top guys in GFW at a GFW show, far away from Billy Corgan and his D20. Then Jeff, Corny and D'Amore will be able to make all of them look good.

So, who are the heavy hitters that GFW supposedly left behind then? Because I'd say PJ Black, Brian Myers, and Chris Masters are probably the three most well-known guys Jarrett has, at least out of the bunch that worked the GFW tapings last week. If I was Jarrett and wanted to protect my best guys from awful TNA booking, they'd be the first guys I'd leave out of it.

None of those guys were involved in the tapings, and The Pope never wrestled, he just does commentary. And there were no guys from AAA involved in this. So Jarrett kept a lot of the guys out of it. It could be other commitments, or that none of them wanted to go near that dumpster fire though.

Certainly there are some talents not at the Impact Zone, but he still destroyed his core talents, more specifically the ones he just relied on to promote his first taping. Of those names listed, the only ones that are going to be on the first few GFW Amped shows (assuming the Vegas tapings see the light of day, of course) are Sanada, Magnus (and he's still a footnote in this invasion), Jigsaw, and Mickie James. Now, Jarrett did announce Shelton Benjamin, The Killer Elite Squad, and Gallows/Anderson for future tapings, but to say Jarrett didn't put some of this best guys out there for TNA to stink up is just not right.

So if these tapings never see the light of day, TNA can re-edit the footage and sell it to Destination America as a Bigfoot documentary.
"Here we see the Bigfoot in his natural habitat - catering. Note the indigenous people dancing wildly in the background."

I would agree that Masters, Myers and PJ Black are the best known to the audience that watches WWE, but Sonjay Dutt never held the X-Division title and was never "the guy". And remember, the tapings were over the course of three months. I'm thinking that Jarrett is gambling that when those guys involved in the Invasion are finally shown on TNA, he can focus guys like the The Bullet Club, KES, Benjamin and Sanada in the promotion of the second tapings while the ones that are in the Impact Zone are getting beat at GFW shows. The slow build.

Here's what happened. -Bigfoot showed up, there was dancing, JB tried to interview him and he ran. -JB told the fans that they had to dance to bring Bigfoot back. -Those of us who have been with the TNA spoilers since day one were in sort of weird, hazy, TNA frenzy, wanted Bigfoot back. -We had a #BigfootDanceParty. -Bigfoot came back after Khoya-thulhu, Retro, and everyone else who has ever been in a dancing gif danced. -Bigfoot was Matt Hardy. -We had a #TNADanceParty.

Yeah it NEEDED to be Russo in the suit.
Every fiber of my being was willing it to be Russo.
I think the problem is we didn't dance hard enough.
