I say we should make him the winner just to f*** with them. It'd be great to see USA network pressure them to make ZZ a star instead of them just firing him a month later

That was a better promo than any promo Billy did in his entire career.

Nothing would thrill me more than Vince McMahon having to cut a 250K cheque to an out of shape 19 year old boy who looks like a backwoods Sam Kinison, Dresses like the Godfather's electric has cut out at his house and talks like a Deliverance villain

... or the WWE are trying to give ZZ an underdog push by releasing the idea that they don't like him.

I like that WWE wants him gone and everyone wants him gone, because that only gives him more votes in the end
WWE has a lot of bitter fans who hate what they do to their favorite stars and how they have short changed them over the years many different ways. ZZ will win this out of spite unless both Judges use their saves and ZZ goes home by default and they won't because they will get them in hotter shit with their Fans.
I don't blame ZZ for this at all, they are the ones who made it a Popularity Contest ok? Not ZZ. The fans like him, so they vote, they try to manipulate the fans, the fans say "Screw you" and vote for him. If they had made it like every other season where the coaches or judges vote people off, this problem wouldn't exist, but guess what WWE? You made it this way
Don't blame the smooth talkin' lovechild of Dusty Rhodes and Bray Wyatt for your own stupid setup to the show, just warm up that check for when he wins and the fans laugh at you.

Billy Gunn: "Now show them how it's done! it's basic: get reversed off a hurricanrana attempt and come off onto the other opponent's shoulders and give them a headscissors into the ropes and then hit a 619 followed by a springboard splash. if you can't get this after six weeks then you're worthless!"

... or the WWE are trying to give ZZ an underdog push by releasing the idea that they don't like him. I'm a very big WWE fan despite everything, but there's absolutely no way that World Wrestling Entertainment has proven, historically, that they have the compliancy, subtlety or sense to pull something like this off. They absolutely want the big loser who embodies the exact opposite of everything they're looking for gone. I'm very willing to believe the reported scenario is true because As cjb01 says, there's a lot of people out there who are willing to spend however much a text costs once a Monday just to imagine Vince McMahon tearing his wig off his head and punting his waste paper basket across the room.

Billy Gunn lecturing someone on "blowing up" ? Billy "blown up in 5 mins during the attitude era" Gunn? This made my day. Boy it pays off to be HHH's friend.

USA made them go with this format, it wasn't the WWE's idea. Which is why I don't get why it would be such a good thing for WWE to be forced into pushing this guy.

Failing this effort, WWE covertly attempts to start the petty hashstag "#ZZ makes me ZZZ".

It wouldn't at all, but it's always really funny to see fans get one over on them every so often

Lita looks bored out of her skull listening to Billy Gunn. Now she knows how the crowd feels after listening to a Billy Gunn promo...lol.

Its kind of ironic then that the USA hates the show when they are the ones who made it like this...

And yeah, people are going to get off on sticking it to Vince, but how far are they willing to take it?

If ZZ did win, couldn't WWE just manipulate the voting and nobody be the wiser?
