If ZZ did win, couldn't WWE just manipulate the voting and nobody be the wiser? Based on this, YES!

Could very well be, but deep down, knowing what the company perceives at the perfect wrestler image, having ZZ win would be a nightmare to them It's even worse knowing that USA is going to force Vince to push him, even though the guy can't and won't ever be able to work. And yeah, people are going to get off on sticking it to Vince, but how far are they willing to take it? If ZZ does win and they do push him and he's hot garbage, someone can quote my post in case I complain and I will take full responsibility.

The only thing that might be worth it is when HHH comes out to cut a promo blaming ZZ's suckage on the fans. "YOU! WANTED THIS!"

Trying to force people to vote one way is probably the least reliable way to get what you want. ZZ's popular because he's charismatic, likable, and people can relate to him. If Patrick and (questionably) Mada couldn't beat ZZ in the voting polls, who the hell can?

Billy Gunn lecturing someone on "blowing up" ? Billy "blown up in 5 mins during the attitude era" Gunn? This made my day. Boy it pays off to be HHH's friend. Was thinking this as well. In his promo after winning the 1999 King of the Ring he is sucking all of the air out of the arena with his breaths.

The thing is, no one voting gives a shit about who can be the big star in 5 years or who has the best workrate or who wants it more. They vote by who's the standout person. ZZ stands out, he's the funny fat fan favorite guy.
You can't tell a TV audience NOT to vote for a funny fat guy, I mean, that's just plain loony.

I say we should make him the winner just to f*** with them. ... or the WWE are trying to give ZZ an underdog push by releasing the idea that they don't like him. Inception!

Y'know what? I'm legitimately mad that Mada was eliminated so Miz could save some hot blonde, so nope. SAVE ZZ!

USA made them go with this format, it wasn't the WWE's idea. Which is why I don't get why it would be such a good thing for WWE to be forced into pushing this guy.
Its kind of ironic then that the USA hates the show when they are the ones who made it like this... Which would be perfectly fine if it was NBC Universal cutting the check and not WWE. They forced WWE to bring back Tough Enough, no doubt told them to make it like American Idol (i.e., a popularity contest), and now WWE has to take the L when this dope and Quirky McWhatsherface walk with 250K each and amount to jack shit in six months. And for those of you who honestly want ZZ to win just to stick it to the man, think about this for a minute; when USA does push WWE to make him a star, whose television time do you think he's going to be taking up when he's choking through promos and gator rasslin' Hornswoggle The Slater Gator? The Authority? John Cena? The Bella Twins? R-Trizzle? No, he's going to be taking television time from guys like Cesaro and Kevin Owens, who deserve so much better, because WWE will feel like the fans who voted for ZZ as an eff you probably like those guys.

If they want him gone, eliminate him. If the fans push for him to win just out of spite, then just 'Silent Rage' him and show him the door a few weeks later.

Problem is, if that report was true about USA being unhappy that WWE wastes the winners of previous Tough Enough seasons, they won't let that happen. WWE and USA are cozy, but WWE won't get to do things like this anymore if they don't at least try to train the winner and use him.
