Considering how he walked out of the company and vowed that he would not return, I wonder if in about a decade or so he would accept a spot in the hall of fame. The man was over and had done a lot for the company. Not to mention that there were guys who rejected spots and then later buried the hatchet with the McMahons, like Bruno Sammartino and Warrior. I know Punk left on the worst of terms and does not miss the wrestling business, or so he said, but I don't think he can remain bitter for a long time.
What do you think?

In about twenty years time when his celebrity shine has fizzled out and he's lost more than half his personal fortune to a divorce because he couldn't keep the straight edge in his pants and is desperate for cash from any and all sources-maybe.

Don't think so. I really think he's gonna be this generation's Randy Savage. Minus the Steph rumors and the illustrious beef jerky pitchman gig.

No way will the WWE be giving him a live mic any time in the next 15 years or so, so it's not even an option really at the moment.

How can we say he's going to lose money and get a divorce?

I don't really know why we have these "What does X think about Y" conversations. I don't know Punk or his thoughts. It is however really easy to ask him this question on Twitter.

One day he will. Only for it then to be revealed that Kevin Nash is headlining the class.

Not for a long ass time. Like honestly I'm still shocked guys like Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior, Bruno Sammartino, etc all mended bridges with the WWE and made TV appearances after

I think eventually will. It will take a long ass time (a couple of decades at the very least), but it'll happen. Punk seems like he's just completely burnt out on wrestling, and who knows how long it'll take before he he starts getting involved with it again (IIRC, Edge said he didn't watch for a couple of years after he was forced to retire, so I'm not just chalking this up to Punk being bitter). But, the guy who has mended fences with some of the big names over the past few years is one of the guys Punk is angriest with, so who knows? Maybe it'll be the next generation of McMahon's to get Punk back.

I AM CM PUNK!! THANK YOU FOR INDUCTING ME INTO THE HALL OF FAME!! GOODNIGHT!!! *cut stage lights, security escorts Punk off stage"*

HHH now has his issue with Punk and someone will have to play peacemaker in that too. However, I do think Punk will be back. If Vince wants it he will throw him money(not lesnar money) but he will get the same perks and probably headline a mania.

Honestly I believe a big reason why Vince is desperate in mending fences with everyone because I don't think he wants to die with holding illwill or having big names that were important to his company having any illwill towards him. Like I could see Vince or Steph trying to make amends to Punk possibly sooner than expected if not it'll be someone else in the future. Also I thought it was Vince and not HHH to play peacemaker with Bret. Like Brets epilogue in his book pretty much called HHH and HBK the worst people ever, didn't really talk badly about Vince too much, and he still buries HHH in interviews to this day (4/10)

I can see where you are coming from with Vince not wanting ill will with his major talents and legends. I can see them reaching out to Punk but he will probably sit back and play it cool for a while. In the end they do well for each other, some of Punks hangups will be satisfied but he's the type of guy where the world isn't enough. Punk is still young so anything is possible

Just like every other wrestler, CM Punk has a huge ego. He would come back for the Hall of Fame, hell he would be back a lot sooner than that. When his UFC days are over and he wants more money, he will come back to the WWE. He would be in his 40's by then, but that never stops the WWE for bring someone back.
