If they got Bret, Bruno and Warrior, they can get Punk. It'll be years from now, but it'll happen.

Not for a long ass time. Like honestly I'm still shocked guys like Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior, Bruno Sammartino, etc all mended bridges with the WWE and made TV appearances after All of them had beef with Vince and HHH was able to play peacemaker. HHH now has his issue with Punk and someone will have to play peacemaker in that too. However, I do think Punk will be back. If Vince wants it he will throw him money(not lesnar money) but he will get the same perks and probably headline a mania. Was it ever actually established whether HHH has an issue with Punk or not? I know Punk's said that there were bad vibes, but that could just be his issue. I mean, Punk did say that HHH tried reaching out the week before he was fired, so it could be a misunderstanding or something.

We still don't know the full story but I was just comparing it to the stars being mad at Vince and once HHH is in charge he will be the new boss guys get mad at. IDK how much of an issue their is between them but can't be too harsh considering no real exchange of words in public.

Would the WWE accept CM Punk into the hall of fame?

In about twenty years time when his celebrity shine has fizzled out and he's lost more than half his personal fortune to a divorce because he couldn't keep the straight edge in his pants and is desperate for cash from any and all sources-maybe. First post in, this thread's escalated out of control. Well I guess I should at least be happy he wasn't compared to Hitler...yet.

One day he will. Only for it then to be revealed that Kevin Nash is headlining the class. That would be so jokes LMAO

They all come back into the fold eventually, even if it ended up being posthumous in the case of Savage. Then again, the Punk situation includes (at least according to Punk's account) WWE gambling with his life, firing him on his wedding day and the guy who will likely be taking charge of the company in the next decade or so doing everything he could to hold him back, which is way bigger an axe to grind than Hogan, Savage, Warrior or Bret had.

It's going to be one of those really long waits, because his post-WWE time has involved having to go after them for owed money, only for them to turn around and back the staff doctor suing him by posting a Youtube video featuring zoom-ins of his ass to try and publicly discredit him. To their official Youtube channel, and whether accidentally or not, the video was briefly set as a public one that people were notified about. Only Warrior ever had so much shit post-WWE done to him. Once Triple H is in charge and has someone under him to help mend fences the same way he's been for Vince, it really only comes down to whether Punk mellows with age or not. If he enjoys his time in MMA and the retirement after that, then I think he will. Most of the really bitter ex-WWE guys are broken down and didn't know how to take care of their finances, which means they remain grumpy and desperate for spotlights; see Billy Graham.

I'd say it's likely, but Punk strikes me as the kind of guy who, now that he's said he'll never go back, actually won't, even if he'd really rather go back. If he feels WWE wasn't loyal to him, I don't think he'll ever go back, he seems to have no issues cutting people from his life who he feels weren't loyal to him and be fiercly loyal to his friends.

It all depends on Vince. Once he dies, so does any chance of Punk returning to WWE in any way, shape, or form. HHH, and Steph, are reported to hate Punk. Vince is the only one who can mend this bridge, but I'm pretty sure he'd have to join the CM Punk Kiss My Ass Club, to pull it off.

If I've learned one thing from the Cabana podcast, CM Punk is all about making money. So yes, he'll come back.

Him and Bryan are the 2 biggest and possibly only HOF stars of the post Cena/Orton pre Shield/Wyatt era timeframe. I know both Punk and WWE can be petty and HHH has a Napoleonic Complex about his place in wrestling history but compared to what things other people have fallen out over if he has money to be made from WWE and they him it will happen.

Punk seems like one of those dudes that will bitch about old part timers coming in to take his spot, then he'll be that old part timer coming in to take a spot.

I have a feeling he will return part time so he doesn't have to deal with doctors and can pick his opponents.
