I'll say the best was an Orton/Christian street fight from 2011, right before SS. Christian had the world title going in and retained. This was a PPV level match at a house show.
Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero had a really fun match at a 2002 house show I went to. I think I also saw a Flair/Michaels match in 2005, but it paled in comparison to their WM match.

Since this is the WWE forum, I'll say a six-man tag: Legacy vs. Kofi Kingston & Cryme Tyme. Orton is fighting off three fans and Cryme Tyme was over huge. (I don't even know who won.)
I also got to see Rey Mysterio and a mystery partner against Mark Henry & Great Khali. The mystery man? DA UNDATAKAAAAAA! (Not much of a fan of his, but was cool to see him in our little Civic Center. The finisher was a Taker chokeslam, then Rey tagged in, climbed onto Taker's shoulders and dropped the dime on Big Mark.)

Sheamus vs John Cena in Ireland back in 2010. It was like ECW One Night Stand all over again. I wish the match was recorded on tape.

Didn't really appreciate it as a youth, but watching on tape years later, I saw a great Hart Foundation vs Fabulous Rougeaus match in 1988.

I saw Rollins vs Orton not long after Wrestlemania. Saw Rollins pull off an RKO and everything.
There was also a pretty good Ambrose vs Harper match that night as well that seemed to go longer than Rollins/Orton.

Goldust V Christian for the ECW title. Such good fun, exactly the sort of thing you want to see at a house show
It was much better than the Undertaker CM Punk casket match that was also on the card.

Hart Foundation vs Demolition. Awesome match that took place right after Crush made his debut but before it stopped being Ax and Smash.
Raven vs Saturn (WCW 1998) John Cena vs Wade Barrett. - Had a really good match this summer at the house show I went to. Both men did a great job playing to the crowd and the match was structured well and had the crowd really amped up by the end. With we could see THAT Cena and THAT Barrett on TV every week.

My favorite house show match was in Huntington, WV. Summer of... I believe 07. It was right before Orton/Cena had their first big match together at Summerslam, so it was almost as if they were rehearsing for that. TORE IT DOWN. It was also, I believe, the first time Cena sang Country Roads with the crowd, which he does to end every WV house show to this day.

I haven't been to a house show in ages but several stand out in my memory:
Hulk Hogan vs. Adrian Adonis, with Jimmy Hart riding Hulk's back the entire match.
Randy Savage vs Ted DiBiase steel cage match at MSG, a crazy fan climbed the cage to grab onto Ted's ankle.
I sat two rows in for Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair WCW World title defense at The Theater at MSG; with Bruno Sammartino as special guest referee.
Hulk Hogan vs. Jesse Ventura at Nassau Coliseum, Long Island NY. Randy Savage interfered and they kicked Hogan's ass so bad that he limped and cried all the way back to the dressing room,
Sting regained the NWA title from Ric Flair during a blizzard at the Meadowlands NJ. Only a few hundred in attendance, and the after-party at Lawrence Taylor's sports bar.
Stan Hansen AWA world title victory over Ric Martel.
Ric Flair MSG debut vs. Hulk Hogan.
The MSG curtain call.
Hart Foundation vs. British Bulldogs, the only man standing at the end was Jim Neidhart.

I never went to house shows as a teen and right now I'm kicking myself for never doing so. Only been to two; interestingly enough, the last one was in So Cal just two days ago. My stories are so lame in comparison Anyway, for favorite house show match I think I'll go with Orton defending the WWE title against Bryan. Solid, fun match that ended in a DQ brawl involving RVD, Mark Henry and The Shield while Orton scurried off. Another thing I just noticed is that at both shows, Cena ended up missing the card due to a SUPER recent injury. This time it was the broken nose (about a week agoooo), last time it was literally days after he announced that tricep tear.

Rey Mysterio vs John Morrison for the IC title, the near falls actually had me believing there would actually be a title change that night.

Champion vs. Champion Match
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. IC Champion Rey Mysterio
I remember this night and match real well, because it was announced eariler that day when Rey got suspended. The show was in Ocean City, MD at the OC Convention Center, and we all went into the house show thinking Rey was going to drop the title that night (He dropped it the next Smackdown to Morrison), and a lot of us got excited we were going to see a title change at a house show. Of course he was in the main event with Punk instead who had just turned heel about a couple weeks eariler. A lot of fans booed Rey because word got around pretty fast about his suspension. But Punk & Rey still went out and had a great 30 minute match that Punk, and of course this was all before the SES Punk vs. Rey feud they'd have later on.
The only match I ever saw live that was better was Flair/HBK at Mania XXIV.
