Don't understand why Pillman is on this list... was there any heat with WWE i missed? Regarding his early WCW accomplishments and his Cinderalla-like lifestory, he's definetely hall of fame material.

Pillman and Dynamite are the most likely. They both had wrestling figures out recently so they at least had a contract signed with WWE at one point.
Owen? Never. Not while Martha is alive.
Benoit? NEVER. (Unless by some miracle it turns out he was framed or something.... then a massive shit storm would ensue)
Chyna? I can't see it happening. Stephanie and HHH hate her. And It's got nothing to do with the porn either IMO.
Punk? Maybe in 10 years or something. I think he will return to WWE someday first.

Most people from this list are/were shitty human beings.

I'm shocked Brian Pillman is not in yet. Owen will happen but not if Martha has something to say about it. Punk I think after X number of years will get in and will even come back to WWE. Punk's case really feels like Ultimate Warrior all over again.

Pillman doesn't have a serious bar to an eventual induction, _but_ he was only in WWE very briefly (maybe 4 months before he died) and was injured for most of that time. His WCW work was more stellar but again, was rather brief and overshadowed in time by the likes of Jericho, Benoit, Eddie, etc. He'll be the token posthumous inductee the year someone really big and still alive gets in.
Owen - it won't happen, at least not while Martha's alive. If he ever is inducted will be based primarily on how Oje and Athena get along with other members of the Hart clan and how much of that legacy they're prepared to take on.
Chyna - if there's one person who's not getting in until after Benoit is inducted, it will be Chyna. She _continues_ to be an awkward rebuttal to WWE's efforts to paint itself as a family-friendly circus moving towards total respectability. As long as she's constantly shouting down the McMahons from the Peanut Gallery, they can't move forward, with their company or with any plans to honor her contributions (and if Benoit can be forgotten, so can she.)
Punk - He's kind of in the same position as Bruno was until last year - he's a "never say never" possibility who has made specific criticisms against WWE, but has never done so with utter malice. Give him a couple years and he may come around (WWE will want him more than Punk wants WWE at this point.)

Chyna needs to get over her issues, but WWE's staunch refusal to have anything to do with her is what's provoking her in the first place. Her contributions as the first Female Intercontinental Champion and the only female worker who could believably go toe to toe with men really shouldn't be ignored. WWE need to be the ones to make the first move and extend the olive branch. If HHH and Steph met her face to face and said they wanted peace, maybe Chyna can have closure and move on. Both sides are being really stubborn. If you don't want people googling Chyna and finding porn, then give her other things to do to so that those search results can be "diluted"...or at least bumped down to page 2.

CM Punk - Absolutely will at some point, maybe not for a while though. The wounds will heal and the bridges will be rebuilt akin to Warrior and Savage. Triple H's son-in-law will eventually mend the bridges between the two. You know, keep the cycle going and all.

Chyna was not even that good. They just decided to promote someone who had a good body.
Weird to see Benoit referenced as a future HOFer just months before the terribly incident. His name deserves to be banned forever.

WWE holds the power here, not Chyna and, in the end, not us. They hold the keys to the Hall of Fame and will _not_ give anyone an opening for anyone to be inducted that they don't want inducted. Her achievements are no more monumental than any of the others mentioned in this thread, including several world champions, at least one of whom main-evented a WrestleMania. How does WWE gain from appeasing the whims of a marginally talented, physically distinctive former talent who then moved into porn, has since blacklisted herself from that and now only exists apparently to torment the company? Especially if she happens to be an ex-girlfriend of the company's COO, himself married to the Chairman's daughter? What is their motivation? On this list are at least four men whose fans could watch their entire bodies of work and discuss individual matches at length. All of them are considered "required watching." I don't remember anything particularly excellent or noteworthy about Chyna's work.

Dynamite Kid: Thats really up to him whether he accepts it or not Owen Hart: It'll happen pretty soon, now that things appear to have been smoothed out with Martha Brian Pillman: Another one that'll be happening at some point CM Punk: At this point, that's not happening. It could happen someday, though. Chyna: She's damaged goods, and isn't getting in. Chris Benoit: Do I really even need to say anything?

The problem with inducting Dynamite Kid is that they'd really attract attention to how badly he's deteriorated, especially when they bring him out on stage. He's only 56 (the same age as Sting) but his body's been destroyed by drugs and in-ring bumps. It would raise too many questions for the company. Plus, he seems to be a bit of a scumbag ("I only put a shotgun under her chin once"). He'd have more chance when he's dead and they could just play a video of some of his highlights.

Jesus Christ I think my knee with a face drawn on it has more chance than Chris Benoit. Why even ask the question when the answer is so obvious?

Yeah, there is no way that Tom Billington is getting into the HoF alive (and as a side note, great choice of stage name Davey Richards, when last year when the Wolves had a tryout with WWE). WWE are definately going to wait until he is dead before they induct the Bulldogs into the hall of fame, and they will have all the talking about Davey Boy Smith as a person and just talk about the Bulldogs as a team.

There's a better chance of Mojo Rawley being inducted right now then there is of Chris Benoit and Chyna getting in.

Pillman and Dynamite for sure. Owen eventually. Punk probably years from now, but it's different since Hunter's the one with the hurt feelings instead of Vince. Will he be willing to set ego aside and mend fences the way he helped with Bruno and Warrior? I seriously doubt it. Not to mention that Punk's got a serious ego as well. I lean toward no on Chyna because OMG JUST GOOGLE HER and she's apparently still a hot mess right now. I'd put her in if I had the call and could trust that she would be sober for the speech, but it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other.
As for Benoit?
LOL. Dude's one of the best ever in the ring to me, but more importantly he's a child and spouse murderer. There's no chance they ever put him in, nor should they.
