Great opening match, great match period. Two great near falls, devastating looking Pedigree. Just great. Discuss!
Also, was that the first poisoned frankensteiner ever on RAW? I know Neville and Zayn did a couple on NXT, but that seemed like a first for RAW, and boy was it a brutal one.

Neville's on the other hand was so crisp it might as well have been a piledriver. Beautiful

Very cool match. To me, it had that HHH/Jericho feel to it. I really enjoyed it and loved them having a title match. When was the last WWE Championship match on RAW?

Great match, had people invested in the pinfalls though everyone knew Rollins was winning.

I am NOT bitter whatsoever that SJ got THAT Rollins vs. Neville match tonight, and instead four months ago all the WrestleMania tourists got them in a tired trios match and meaningless squash match.

I really enjoyed that match a lot. I enjoyed even more watching my sons father (a Seth Rollins hater) get his hopes crushed when he realized Neville wasn't going to win.

For a match that absolutely everyone knew Neville wouldn't win they sure got me with the Red Arrow rope break. Sounded like they got most of the crowd too. Well done.
As for the poisoned Frankensteiner as it is called above. Neville has done that to Zayn and Owens in NXT. He may have also done that to Owens on Raw in that NXT open challenge.

Fun opener for Raw, and badly needed after the sadness of the Roddy Piper tribute.

It was a great way to kick off the show, but every time he has a great match with someone I'm left wishing he could be given storylines instead of being "talented workhorse guy who loses in great matches with people who matter".

That was one of the most clever ways I ever seen a rope break being utilized. I didn't see his foot was there the entire time and I nearly lost my shit. Well played

Fantastic match that made Neville look amazing. Even though I went into the match absolutely 100% knowing Seth was winning, they *still* manged to get me with that nearfall

Really good match. Anytime you can take a crowd that isn't into the match at the start and have them emotionally invested at the end you've done your job. Well done to everyone involved.

They got me twice in thinking Neville was actually going to win (the rope break spot after the Red Arrow was brilliantly done). Excellent match!

Best WWE TV match this year. Thank god they let them have an actual finish because I was half expecting Stardust to run in for a ROLL UP!!! distraction which would have been terrible.

Was awesome.
Title matches on RAW make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I may be misidentifying it, but doesn't the entire Stardust/Green Arrow thing count as a storyline for Neville?

didnt watch raw just the highlights on youtube Can someone please explain to me why neville got a title shot? Rollins held an open challenge for the title. But Seth, being Seth, had two stipulations: the challenger had to be under 6'0", and had to weigh under 200 lbs. He was betting on El Torito, but Neville entered instead. Cue amazing match that ended cleanly.

I was anticipating a HHH/Jericho kind of thing.
