Saw an article that stated the Chicago Bears would be the worst team in the NFL this season.
Apparently, this article forgot these teams existed:
Jacksonville Jaguars Oakland Raiders Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cleveland Browns Washington Redskins
I think that about covers it.

None of those teams have Fox and Cutler or have to deal with the NFCN for 6 games.

I don't see how on paper this would lead to the worst record in the NFL, but we shall see.

Updating a previous item, 49ers OLB Aldon Smith was arrested on DUI, hit-and-run and vandalism charges Thursday night in Santa Clara County.

Mostly light ribbing but I do have a blind hatred to John Fox as believe he cost us at least two Super Bowls with his shitty coaching and possibility at a third. I'll always see him as holding a team back than making better. Cutler, I don't get the hype or love for and this is going back to his drafting.

I'll jump for joy the day the Bears get rid of him. The Bears have only made the playoffs one season out of the last eight. It would take a special kind of special to do worse than what they've done. If John Fox brings them to two Super Bowls, let alone one Super Bowl, I'd be happy.

Cutler has to be frustrating. He *does* have flashes of brilliance at times, but man...when he's bad, he's really bad

I always thought Cutler was on the negative side of "He'll win some for you, he'll lose some for you".
Basically his pros more than likely aren't worth his cons. That's not saying he isn't a good QB, it's just that for as great of an arm he has, his head seems to go straight into the shitter too often.

Cutler has to be frustrating. He *does* have flashes of brilliance at times, but man...when he's bad, he's really bad I've heard it put well before that Cutler, numbers-wise, is a league-average quarterback. But, he gets to that average by combining great and awful, so it doesn't look average. Which is why it can be infuriating to watch him because you know that the talent is there (which is also part of the reason that Adam Gase is now Cutler's 5th OC in his seven years with the Bears - there's always the belief that if he just has the right coach, he'll break out and get rid of those awful games and become a great quarterback. Considering Cutler is now 32, I doubt that will be happening).

Jesus Christ, Aldon Smith is a fxxxing moron... He's actively throwing (already thrown?) away a potentially legendary career. But he'll keep getting third/fourth/fifth chances because of the talent. The "what ifs" the small miniscule chance that he's finally NOT a moron anymore. It sucks to watch. He was my favorite Niner, and its near impossible to defend him...

Niners are a safe bet to be a worse team, too. A weakened team that will have six games with the NFC West. It has all the makings of an ugly season.
