And on that day nobody wept.

I don't buy it. DJ Hyde said he was coming back to CZW and that he had a lot of ideas that Deej was excited to do. I that was like a month ago so I don't know what would change so drastically in that time. Im guessing it's a character change.

Could it be he's just cutting his hair and going back to his pre-WWE name?

I just saw him the other day wrestling for IPW:UK in Kent. He had a fun three way, but wasn't really all that over, and reDRagon got far more merch traffic than he did.

I saw him at one of his first indy appearances after NXT and thought that he was gonna really catch on. Guess not.

Looks like it was just the name/gimmick that he was retiring, as people here suggested. He will be debuting as Juice Robinson in NJPW (just saw it on PWInsider).

Yep, he's on the next New Japan tour, going back to his old Indy gimmick of Juice Robinson. Being on that show with reDRagon I was at could have helped somewhat.

Glad he's not quitting, I thought he was great. Sad to see the hippy gimmick go though, that was superb.

Count me in as one of those that loved his character and work as CJ Parker. Here's hoping that he steps up another notch so that he can be more than the JTTS that he was.
