I laughed at his assessment of Taker's entrance. Your kid sounds like a fantastic color commentator in the making. We should all measure time via Baron Corbin matches. Instead of saying 3-hour Raws, we shall call it 300 Baron Corbin matches Raw.

Have you shown him the Scooby Doo or Flintstone cross-overs yet? I hope he can also see The Hulk Hogan Rock and Wrestling cartoons from the 80s. Are they on the Network? or VHS/DVD? They WERE on the Network.

Wow. Lots of kind comments about my little man here.
Look, this is kinda dorky, but I've got a couple of pieces of writing I originally composed for somewhere elsewhere, based on the experiences of being a dad and a wrestling fan. They were written for a non wrestling fan audience, so they occasionally explain terms like "heel," etc, and they are more essays about fatherhood using my observations of me and him watching WWE together as a way of discussing that. However, if any of you kind folks wanted to see them, and if the mods here don't think it's too far removed from the purpose of this forum, would it be ok to post them in here?

Cute story, bro
I finally heard Joe's NXT music and I'm surprised that so many people in here aren't fans of it. I love it! It's probably my favorite theme in WWE right now.

Version 1 = Huge pseudo-Godzilla-theme intro, followed by barely audible hip-hop hi-hat and bass, as if a funky rhythm section were trying to back out of the fire escape without being noticed. Vaersion 2 = the same, but with big, chunky, butt-swinging brass band stabs dubbed over the latter part. Compared by some folks here to "Simon Says" by Pharoahe Monch.

I think your son should be a color commentator known as The Kid, who sporadically appears in a picture-in-picture box in the lower right corner of our television screens during important matches, offering his wisdom as to who sucks, and why they suck.

Must've been number 1 because it had a serious Godzilla vibe.

I would be interested to read them. However, I think you might be able to convince the F.A.N. guys to let you write a series on 'what my seven year old thinks of wrestling.' Chazraps may have a point about a podcast too although I understand if you'd not be able to get him to do that.

It's funny how WWE's excuse for everything is that it has to be family friendly, yet children are smart to the stupid stuff.
So are old people for that matter. My mom watches once in a blue moon, and she always comments on the old guys that are still around like Triple H, Taker, Sting, etc. and says that she can't buy them beating up a young guy in good shape. She also said that the only thing Undertaker does is return and stand there, but never seems to wrestle.
