It's only a matter of time before they do turn face again. Crowds are starting to un-ironically love them. And much like most of those face turns, it simply won't work.

Ya know, if they keep the zaniness it could work. Keep Xavier trash talking on the outside, keep Big E acting the powerhouse but most proper of the 3, and keep Kofi as a combo of hype man/beast in the ring, and it works. But..... This is the WWE.

The mental image of Vince backstage listening to the crowd boo New Day with a single tear rolling down his cheek is hysterical

Another example of Vince being convinced the audience agrees with him and will like what he thinks they should like

I'm astounded as to how anyone could think that gimmick would work as a babyface gimmick. If fans are starting to get behind them a bit it is due to the underlying feeling that they got kinda screwed over in the booking in terms of jobbing to the useless Prime Time Players. I mean any 8 year old can obviously tell that the New Day guys are vastly superior workers, which is why the tag Honky Tonk Man comparisons made no sense to me. They are really too talented for that.

I wish they would add Slick to the group as a manager.
That's all they are missing. A good over-the-top mouthpiece.

After seeing more and more of these stories, I'm beginning to wonder how many of WWE's good ideas over the years actually WERE Vince's...

Vince McMahon is best explained as a guy who had his finger on the pulse thirty years ago, knew when to say "yes" to the right people twenty years ago, and stopped listening to everyone who didn't agree with him ten years ago.

Winner winner, chicken dinner! He's like a band that peaked in the 80s, had a sudden resurgence in popularity in conjunction with another band several years later, and is still thought of in great reverence in the present by far too many people when all he's doing is playing the same old stuff to a changing demographic, insisting that it's all their fault that they're ready for a new band to take the stage.

I love the fact that they took a shit gimmick, then essentially became a 3 man version of Edge & Christian. I know there are sticklers who get upset at fans cheering the heels and going against the narrative, but WWE brings it on themselves. As faces, New Day were corny, goody-goody, hand slappers with no personality. Now they have identities, and get to show off their natural charisma. Of course fans cheer that.

I love that the three of them basically decided to sabotage their own face run just so they can get management to realize the gold that they could have with them being heels.

This actually reveals that there is truth to the wrestlers making their own opportunities. Sometimes it is in fact WWE's fault for not pushing someone that is clearly over, but when it comes to getting over in the first place, taking what you are given and making it into something enjoyable seems to be the key to success in WWE.

As of now with non-smarky and smarky towns saying new day rocks
I think new day will do a dpuble turn with ptp. Especially since ptp get smaller reactions

And Batista vs Randy Orton will be the greatest main event ever! Vince is seriously out of touch. I know some fine it endearing and amusing, but this type of stuff is "funny" for all the wrong reasons. *nods enthusiastically* Instead of saying a cutesy "awwwww" I just roll my eyes. These stories are just getting more and more ridiculous.

Is Vince out of touch? Yes. No. It's the children who are wrong.
