I only ask because I'm desperately looking for new podcasts, and anything wrestling related jumps up to the top of the list. So, FAN, is it worth the look in? Or for that matter, just turn this into the generic "wrestling podcast recommendation" thread.

I downloaded their review of Halloween Havoc 1995 as a kind of taste test, so we'll see how that gets me through work tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

Really funny. Obviously language warning but those guys always create funny moments. I would recommend once you start watching it, start from the first podcast episode one and continue up. It's funny to see their evolution over a four or five year stretch and how a one off comment about wardrobe turned into the what bar gimmick.

Also, be sure to hit up their website, OSWReview.com
It's even better with video, and sometimes Jay will include little edits in the video if they screw something up while talking.

Though you can find it on iTunes, it is a video podcast and they do a ton of work in editing the footage they use, so it's really best watched instead of listened to.

Just pick out some of your favourite shows they've done. The only thing about starting with Halloween Havoc is it's fairly recent so there's a lot of running gags you might not get from before.

It is amazing. Watch it in chronological order though or you won't get the recurring jokes. Well worth your time and in my opinion any episode of osw is better than anything on wWe TV right now

I watch them constantly... very enjoyable, highly funny... #GarvinHOF *gg* Halloween Havoc is quite a good start. Wrestlemania IX would be a good choice, too (C*nt Hogan, the many faces of Ed Leslie)
If you watch chonologically... might wanna skip WM 1 and 2 where they haven't quite found their "rhythm".
And I agree, definetly watch WITH video, there are many visual insights and/or jokes...

I really recommend you watch them in order so you understand some of the things they mention in later episodes as you may not appreciate it as much by diving into a Haloween Havoc episode. And definitely do the video version rather than the audio.

Yeah, definitely enjoying the video version more right now. How often do they update? Because I really wanna see them do more 1993 WWE aside from 'Mania IX.

There's no set schedule, but they started the thing about 4 years ago and now they're at over 50 episodes. Not sure if we're going to get more '93 era WWF, but it's possible; their original mission statement was to just cover the Hulkamania era PPVs (they defined that as WM 1 through SummerSlam '92, even though Hogan wasn't on that one), but since then they've picked certain eras or concepts and done it that way. I suppose we could get a 1993 WWF show covered in the form of a Brucie Bonus episode, or in the context of a larger storyline (maybe Bret's rise to the title after WM 9, or the whole rise and fall of Lex Luger in WWF, whatever).

Ah, nice. Listening/watching these has actually inspired a project for me and my fiancee, where we review shows going back to the beginning. She's a....dabbler, by which I mean that she appreciates the artform and has been to shows with me, but calling her a fan would be pushing it. So I look forward to getting her reaction through fresh eyes.

When they get through the current X-7 storyline, I've been thinking about suggesting the Bret/Owen feud, there's so much to go through there, and it includes plenty for crap on the cards for them to get through too.
