WWF by a huge margin. After Nitro debuted I quit watching the WWF entirely for well over a year.

I just watched all those 95 Nitros this year and it was way better. I loved the Giant's debut run and it was cool to see the global flavor they were going for with guys from all over the planet competing. Even Sabu was putting on great botch free matches.

In 96 it gets even more lopsided with WCW having some great angles and exciting newcomers plus the cruiserweight division forming, while Vince still relies on 1988 booking and 1993 gimmicks

WCW when it was bad that year was usually hilarious. WWF when it was bad was just bad and boring.

i can't think of a single show from either promotion i'd like to watch from that year, unless for comedy purposes...i guess wwf has more of those types of shows. but wcw is pretty bad, too, cause they've got, just...nothing i'd want to watch. at all.
actually, y'know what? starrcade 95 doesn't look bad. stream's not gonna be good enough to watch it of course, so i'm not gonna try. but it seems watchable.
so wwf was worse for having 0 shows.

Survivors 95 was good with Diesel/Bret and some fun elimination matches Summerslam was okayish, overshadowed by the terrible Undertaker and Diesel stuff

To be fair, The World Wrestling Federation really had no direction. They were basically like now, but with more cartoonish gimmicks.

WCW at least felt like it was trying to do different things, and it felt different from what they were doing in the past few years. Maybe not all for the better, but I can't accuse them of being a holding pattern.
The WWF was so damn stale and dated in 1995. They were totally playing it safe with the same philosophies that worked in the 1980s. In addition, watching 95 Raws give me similar vibe to Impact, where it feels like they are rushing through everything at a breakneck pace and nothing really sinks in.

It's interesting the way the two companies fought stagnation, WCW overhauled their stagnant product by updating everything, new show, modern production values and international talent to broaden the appeal of the product, while the WWF's was to run more PPVs which made everything seem rushed, and alienated international fans to an extent because the new In Your House PPVs weren't carried by some of their major broadcast partners. They also ran shows in smaller venues, slashing ticket prices and heavily papering crowds in places like San Antonio to try and make Shawn's Boyhood Dream seem like something people actually wanted to come true. They just kept on ploughing ahead with the same act until they were forced to change or die.

In my opinion, WCW's best pay per view of 1995 was Slamboree.
