I've always tried to find that match with DDP and that guy who screamed before he crotched himself on the ropes.

I remember Liz no selling an atomic drop by Hogan because she supposedly had no underwear on under her skirt.

Speaking of Duggan, he had a nice in-ring promo on Thunder around the time it was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 1998. It was his last TV appearance for at least a year or so.

Anyone have a link to the Thunder where Nash is on commentary and bashes Hacksaw Duggan all night? That show is hilarious, but for all the wrong reasons.

Sting cut his first promo after being silent for a year and a half on Thunder. I still remember what he said pratically verbatim. Sting to JJ Dillon: You got no guts Tony: Omg hes talking Sting to Hogan: And you you're a dead man. That was a great moment.

My favorite moments of Thunder include various Kanyon Kutters and Kronik locking the Perfect Event in their tanning beds before their match later in the night, so then Stasiak and Palumbo had to come out and wrestle with sunburn.

Thunder was great for the first several months, then became WCW Saturday Night II pretty quickly (only without Saturday Night's swank set). It essentially became what Smackdown is today, in that it was a show where nothing ever happened. This continued until Russo and Ferrera came in and changed the day of filming to Tuesday to get more big names on the show. From then on Thunder actually did matter again, but the product was extremely hit or miss from then on out as well.
Actually, it's really interesting watching Thunder when Russo and Ferrera were booking but before they switched the taping days, because they had to write their Crash TV style around WCW's midcarders and lower midcarders. That's where we got gimmicks like Chavo Guerrero: Amway Salesman and Dubbed La Parka. Some of those Thunders were like a weird fever dream and I'd love to be able to see them again.

He was more poking fun at Tenay for coming up with his own name for Duggan's finisher. Everytime Nash says old glory something I can't help but crease myself laughing.

I remember Bret Hart having one of his last matches against Terry Funk in a hardcore match. This was only a week after the Goldberg match and I believe this match did just as much to end Bret's career as the Goldberg kick did

Everytime Nash says old glory something I can't help but crease myself laughing. That quote was in reference to Nash actually saying on air that the reason Total Package and Rick Steiner were facing Buff Bagwell and La Parka was because half the roster no showed the event and that's what the bookers (aka Nash himself) came up with.

I watched a highlight package of this on Dailymotion once and I think it's after Goldberg spears someone, Nash says 'THE SPEAR! Second to none.' I nearly died laughing.

Actually, he's talking about himself milking the hard camera because he and Hall are sitting in the front row. You can spot Nash raising his arms twice while Goldberg sets up the Jackhammer.

I'm still trying to find the Thunder where Nash and DDP stare at a swinging light bulb for 20 minutes. I'll settle for just that segment actually.
