He'd be a good Manchester Black.
DC, sign this guy up!

When people talk about Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt being victimized by Hurricane Cena, I'll never forget what damage John's Category 5 knuckle shuffle did to everyone in Nexus, most specifically Barrett. You know it was bad when veterans were in the locker room telling John it was a bad idea and he was still like "EH, f*** IT, LEGOOOO!"

Barrett in LU would be amazing would love to see what they could do with him as their track record for taking misused WWE talent is perfect so far.
Barrett as Darios bodyguard would be so perfect.

Sad if so, but let's face it: the guy got screwed over. Fall 2010, Nexus had so much heat that one time Barrett waited to speak because the boos were so loud. Why halt that momentum? Because he was awful in-ring? He was at least on par with Sheamus, who was WWE Champion on the time. I would've loved to see Barrett get a reign with the strap.

Sad news (pun intended) if it's true. He's really one of those guys WWE totally missed the boat on.

Because he was awful in-ring? He wasn't the greatest technician, but he was perfectly serviceable, and better than many other people they pushed. Even as a 'rookie' he never had a match as bad as Orton and Sheamus' HIAC, and that was a main event for the title in that exact time period.

Sheamus wasn't great then but he wasn't as bad as Barrett was. Barrett looked lost half the time back then and the only time he looked really good was in the HIAC Cena match. All of the Nexus 7 weren't quite ready for TV back then. Not even close. Great presentation and presence and all that but they all sorta sucked except for maybe Heath.

I wouldn't be shocked if only because that segment last night was mighty confusing. Also - live Wade Barrett literally RAN to the backstage area after getting hit with the Cross Rhodes. oh well.

I wouldn't blame him but as a Manchester native (yes I know he's from Preston it's not that bloody far!) I'd be gutted! He's turned so much shit to gold it's ridiculous, much like Cody really. BNB is absolutely brilliant and he was getting over, they actually made him face for one night and then what? I know this much be controversial so I apologise in advance if anyone takes it the wrong way but there's stories of how Vince doesn't want a black world champion; whether that's true or not I'm not sure but I do wonder if he has a deep rooted xenophobia. I'm not saying Barrett deserved a World title run but there's been a hell of a lot worse who've had it, and if you think about the talent he's had over the years. Bulldog, Billington, Regal, Neville. Hell, even Burchill. I'm sure there's some I'm missing but none of them even sniffed the main event. You could stretch it to Brits and include McIntyre. Even Mason Ryan who was shite but was everything Vince would usually like. As an English fan it's just so damn frustrating. If I'm out of line I apologise in advance, few too many beers after band practice tonight!

Eh...
He's away filming a WWE movie, they did this to write him off which makes sense. Wade gets more time than most midcarders (surprisingly). He's good.

Tyson Kidd's Twitter name is TJ Wilson.
Changing a Twitter name means literally nothing.

His injury problems did not help. He literally breaks at the very moment WWE seem to want to try something. The timing is almost freaky.

Dude sucks in the ring and has been saved by his accent on what would be horrible promos for anyone else, in wrestling that won't last long but in Hollywood, he can milk that shit forever. I will say he did okay with the JBL and Cole stuff so he could do well in Hollywood if he'll make like Batista and put the work in.
