I wouldn't blame him but as a Manchester native (yes I know he's from Preston it's not that bloody far!) I'd be gutted! I'm not saying Barrett deserved a World title run but there's been a hell of a lot worse who've had it, and if you think about the talent he's had over the years. Bulldog, Billington, Regal, Neville. Hell, even Burchill. I'm sure there's some I'm missing but none of them even sniffed the main event. You could stretch it to Brits and include McIntyre. Even Mason Ryan who was shite but was everything Vince would usually like. As an English fan it's just so damn frustrating. If I'm out of line I apologise in advance, few too many beers after band practice tonight! I'd say that is a bit of a stretch. Dynamite was in WWF for what? ~4 years all of which in a tag team. Bulldog absolutely 'Sniffed' the main event. Regal was allegedly going to get a WHC push/run, depending on if you believe that rumor before he messed up big time..again... Neville has been on the main roster less than a calendar year. Sure he doesn't seem like he will ever be a main eventer, but he was in a VERY high profile match TWO DAYS AGO! Burchill was a lower carder, and that's fine. That xenophobe sure has liked to constantly push Sheamus for the last 6 years or so. They also tend to usually have 30-40% of the active roster born outside of the US.

You're probably right, it just feels like over the years we've had the talent but they never get the recognition they deserve. As for Sheamus, Vince has that Irish connection so I kinda ignored that. I can just imagine he hates Britain because of some weird 1776 thing, we all knows he's a major patriot! It was all 100% speculation so like I said you're probably right, just frustration over Barrett being messed around.

Tyson Kidd's Twitter name is TJ Wilson. Changing a Twitter name means literally nothing. Tyson Kidd uses his real name as his Twitter name because of Total Divas.

I hope Barrett's around for a long time to come, but I wouldn't blame him for leaving. Past few years have been nothing but a sequence of WWE sabotaging him every time he finds something that works.

Many of his pushes ended due to injury. and despite what people liek to say the Nexus was still going well after Summerslam. Wade's title matches were months afterwards and they were terrible.

I see Survivor Series as a much bigger failing than SummerSlam. I didn't really think either title match was that bad and moreover, he had a great match with Cena just before the Orton series so it's not like he had an entirely bad track record. And the Survivor Series match was marred by the same sort of big issue hanging over Miz / Cena at Mania 27 - everyone was just kind of waiting for Cena to do something the whole time and knew it wouldn't end unless he was involved with the finish. And sure, injuries did cause problems, but that doesn't excuse shit like them squashing the Corre repeatedly, dropping its hot feud with the New Nexus, breaking them up for basically no reason other than to try and push Zeke for all of about a month before they gave up on that, and dropping the parts of the Bad News gimmick that got over then just dropping it entirely.

Yeah, we are going to have to agree to disagree on that. As for the great match with Cena. I do agree with that... but Khali had a good match with Cena. Having a good match is Cena is not all that difficult. I'm not saying they didn't cut his legs off before... but there were also a bunch fo cases of bad luck involved. Also the CORRE was pretty terrible from inception. It was a blatant attempt to try and recreate the Nexus without any of the things that made the Nexus work while the Nexus was still a thing. That's not Wade's fault but it was NEVER going to be anything.

If Wade eventually does go, it'll be a shame for him. But there's plenty of other guys ready to step up and fill that midcard jobber role. I don't see them doing much with Neville right now, he could move right in there AND have solid matches to boot.

I wouldn't mind them taking a stab at pairing Barrett up with Sandow. Dunno why, but feel they could work well together.

Guy Richie should give Wade a look for his next movie, whatever it may be. He'd fit in perfectly, and he's also done a movie with a former wrestler (Kurrgan in Sherlock Holmes).

If he leaves he can go around the world, touching his nose every five seconds all the while. I did really enjoy Bad News Barrett, and when he had a pretty great reign as the Linear Champion.

The attack was to write him off television for a while as he'll be in the UK shooting a movie, per Meltzer.

I'm not gonna wish dude would get fired but honestly, having a dude get jumped by his partner before a tag match and then never be mentioned again would be a pretty funny way to write someone off, haha.

I also want to add that on the slim chance of this being true, that PJ Black better run and hide because he's about to lose that B.S. title.
