A sort of female Mankind; a woman wrestler who has extreme body/image issues, so even though she has the looks of a supermodel she sees herself as ugly and repellant. She becomes a wrestler because she's discovered the only time she feels beautiful is when she is inflicting pain on others, and she wrestles wearing a mask to cover her face.

An high school/college wrestling gimmick. Take two guys who have legit credentials and can mat wrestle, and an older, kinda gruff looking dude that has mic skills. (hey, maybe this is how Kurt Angle could return). Air vignettes of them wrestling at meets, and doing drills and whatnot. Have them wrestle a mat based style kinda like WGTT. They wear matching singlets, their team name is a fake school name and mascot (like the Columbia State Bulldogs or something like that). They enter to their fight song (played by a live marching band), they have a cheerleading team, water boys, the whole shebang. Whenever one is in the ring, the coach is at ringside giving instructions to the other. It could be a fun gimmick and provide another entertaining tag team alongside New Day.

The guy who has a masked alter-ego who is obviously him, uses the same mannerisms, moveset etc. However they're actually two different people.

I originally had this for Cesaro for a fantasy booking challenge, but the gimmick would work well with anybody I think. Basically the wrestler has a handler (this would have been Heyman for Cesaro) and as long as the handler appears with the wrestler on screen at the same time during interviews or press statements, the wrestler is a perfectly well behaved gentleman and good sportsman, is polite to the interviewers, always keeps his language G-rated, the whole deal, but whenever the wrestler is given a live microphone without his handler present he just acts like a jackass, insulting and berating opponents and fans, going off on horribly offensive rants of Trumpesque proportions.

I like that. How about the "handler" being his girlfriend, the beloved pure face, who doesn't see him for what he really is when she isn't looking. Which brings him into the position where he has to distract her in matches against strong opponents, so he can go full berzerk^^
