Maybe Hulk Hogan didn't want to get hit with a role of quarters

Wow, I hate this term, but what a mark, paying $50,000 for a win, I hope he at least made that back from the tapes he sold.

$25,000 was the asking price for Hogan then, win or loss. The rest of the WCW crew combined was $20,000.
Hogan agreed to it, and said so in 2013. "He deserves it."
And Jacques made some money...jacking up ticket prices at the Forum.

Another, MAJOR factor in the whole thing was Hogan making a power play BTS with WCW management. Hogan was at odds with them over some contract issues and did the whole thing more to show them he was in control of what he did than they were. Rougeau paying him was just a bonus, and doing it for any reasons like retirement matches or goodwill was negligible. Ah typical WCW Hulk Hogan, even when he did something that could be considered a nice gesture for a co-worker, it was done for a self serving reason.

Haha, in typical Hogan fashion he hit the leg drop but didn't pin him, making it look like he would've beat him.

Didn't Carl Oulette go over The Giant clean at this show too? No, PCO won by DQ when Giant went for the eyepatch.
