Josh said over 500,000 people did. It ironically ended in a 3 way tie between Velvet, Gail, and Brooke. I'm calling shenanigans and they all voted for themselves once and the rest of the Knockouts weren't aware they were in it.

What the quote said: Josh said over 500,000 people did. It ironically ended in a 3 way tie between Velvet, Gail, and Brooke. I'm calling shenanigans and they all voted for themselves once and the rest of the Knockouts weren't aware they were in it. What my dirty mind picked up on: a 3 way between Velvet, Gail, and Brooke.

How the hell does a vote of 500,000 people end in a two-way tie, much less three-way? The odds of that are pretty ridiculously low, especially when there probably weren't many options.

This is so absurd on so many levels.
I could maybe buy that 500k votes had been cast, particularly if there is little to nothing to prevent people from voting multiple times, even if it's implausible given the company's shrinking fanbase, but a 3 way tie? They have to outright think their fans are morons.

499,997 votes for Mike Tenay and his windmilling magic That leaves 1 vote for each knockout that they cast for themselves

I have it on good authority that Dixie Carter personally counted the votes.
However she forgot what came after 10 so she decided to call it a tie.

I don't think the tie is THAT improbable, it was a three way tie but not just between those three right? So some votes would have went to all the other KOs. Surely the real problem here, as stated by others, is that there's no way 500000 people give enough of a shit about TNA to have voted in this poll?

Just looked it up and the poll actually was only between the three of them. Which, if you assume over 500,000 is true and divide 500,001 by three, amounts to each of the three getting exactly 166,667 votes, no more and no less. Which is basically outright impossible.

They could have tried BSing and saying no one got a majority of the vote and said it was too close to fairly give it to one Knockout, that it'd be unfair to the fans. This would be employing something called "writing" though, and that ain't happening.

The real question is, will TNA still be in business by the time you can use said calendar?
