You know that thing Ryck just said? About opinions? You just refuted it. In my opinion. Then I suppose it's a good thing I'm not trying to force you to have my opinion, isn't it? Also, way to entirely ignore the part where I said I find Fox entertaining and pointed to that as an important aspect of her job. Psst, he is agreeing with you.

Better either be a complete lie or a squash match in which EVA realizes she is no good and immediately gives up from the backstage right before the match.
And then charlotte , becky and sasha come out and give a farewell 4 way match.

Honestly its not like Cameron who botched a pin, and looks lost in the ring is getting a title shot. Eva has been training and continues to improve and that is the point of development to improve and learn how to work and sell and do ring psychology. If a wrestler is in the ring with another wrestler who is competent they can get a good to decent match out of them. Far worse matches have occurred plus this isn't set in stone yet either Eva's "improvements" are minimal at best - she still looks like a deer in the headlights out there. Like I said above (EDIT: or on the last page), I'm glad she's trying to get better but it really, really shouldn't be a televised process.

Eva is certainly solid in the sense that she is a tangible being, with a physical presence, who exists.

You mean the end of the Diva's four way? That was Becky that was pinned, and I thought it was stated that Dana was supposed to break it up. Last week's NXT show happened at a taping with a bunch of other weird stuff that people weren't sure was going to make it to TV that now seems like it was trying to either stir the internet up or just give more wrestling to the paying audience. Shit like Owens coming out with the NXT title and beating Neville, which we now know won't happen. But one of the matches involved Eva Marie against somebody, and she forgot to kick out of a pin. The fact it's going nowhere near TV definitely leads to the suggestion it was intentional for Total Divas/to f*** with people. ah I didnt read the spoilers because I was going ot Brooklyn.

Some of us like wrestling to be good, with capable wrestlers. Shucks, sorry about that. I appreciate good wrestling as much as anybody, as many people around here know. I also know that when someone is learning a craft, you shouldn't shit all over them. Don't get condescending towards me because other people around here act like it's the f***ing fall of modern civilization that Eva Marie may get a title shot. That's the most absurd thing here, nothing has happened on TV yet and yet everyone is acting like it's a set in stone, done deal. And if it does happen, what exactly is so bad about that? A shortish program that'll feature limited matches where one of the competitors is exceptional and capable of carrying a match and the other is someone that's learning and, despite what FAN posters tell you, isn't even the worst f***ing wrestler on the roster. Some of us like to see people actual get a shot to improve in their chosen profession instead of shitting all over them for not being the single greatest human being to grace a wrestling ring since day one. Edit: Seriously, everyone around here has gotten to a point where they entirely miss the point of NXT. It's not a third brand like so many people insist, it's a touring developmental camp that put people in front of live crowds to get them used to working that way and they have "veteran performers" there to learn WWE style and assist the younger talents. What happens? People on the Internet that think paying $9.99 a month entitles them to dictate every single aspect of the product bitch online to the point that some people get buried before they even get a real shot. For all the good NXT has done, it's almost done harm than good because now people have it in their head that NXT is some super indy that exists within WWE while being outside WWE that only exists to put on Five Star Classics all the time when in reality, shit don't work that way. Good points, but NXT has evolved way past the point of it simply being a developmental federation, that's what the non-televised training is for. When HHH goes on record to say things like he hopes it will become a rival brand to Raw then it is the WWE themselves that created these expectations. NXT is also one of the main draws about the WWE Network so combining them two aspects people do have the right to voice their concerns. I know I have higher expectations that most when it comes to the women as I can see no reason why it can't be as good as the mens wrestling and would refer anybody to the classic AJW matches if they think it can't.

Eva is much better than where she was but she still has a long way to go but NXT is still developmental... working with someone like Bayley will also do more for her than wrestling someone like Carmella.

NXT seems to be developmental in name only nowadays. Learning to wrestle seems to be done in the Performance Center, and the show is more to get used to cameras and working in front of crowds. Right now, Eva is pretty bad. I would hope she improves, but she doesn't really seem very athletic. McRubbin is better than her at this point, and that's who I assume will take the title off Bayley.

Poor Bayley. It's like Bryan finally winning the title and then being put in a horrible feud with Kane. They would never do such a thing

Eva Marie is far from "solid." Someone like Melanie Cruise, Veda Scott or Taylor Made are "solid". Eva Marie is way below average and shouldn't be getting anywhere near the title. If Eva Marie is solid, then Brie Bella is the female equivalent of Shawn Michaels.

Yeah, the whole idea of NXT being a place for people who just learned the basics to wrestle is pretty outdated.
They have a traning center where they practice behind closed doors and (if you're Eva Marie and apparently only Eva Marie) one-on-one training with Kendrick. They also do house shows. Both of which are places for people to get "trained up" to the point where they can actually be on the Network as a wrestler who can actually wrestle.
The WWE promotes NXT, with people like Owens, Neville, Charlotte, Banks, etc coming from there, as a place for people who can already wrestle thier asses off. The fans didn't do that - WWE did.
And honestly, NXT has always been a place where people who can ALREADY wrestle come to fine-tune and hone a character, not be dangerously under-prepared for a match.

Hey, I would love it if Eva Marie kept working and, one day, was on the level of the Four Horsewomen. I would love the Full Sail crowd to watch an awesome match of hers and chant "We misjudged you!" or "You can wrestle!" I think that'd be absolutely amazing... one day.
Right now, she stinks up a ring just as much as any diva on the main roster... but it's so much more noticeable on NXT because there is a certain level that has been expected from the women on there. Dana Brooke is far from terrible if you want to compare her to the Bellas, but if you compare her to Charlotte or Becky, wow.... can barely stand in the same ring as them.
So really, the hate it justified right now because that's where Eva is. You don't walk into McDonalds and ask for your burger to be medium rare because they only have two temperatures for their meat, "warm" and "cold." Similarly, you don't go into NXT, stumble around the ring, barely hit a sliced bread #2 and be immediately talked about as the successor to the belt. Granted, this could be just some epic trolling that we're taking too seriously because we've been burned too much are in a constant state of waiting for the other shoe to drop when things have been so good for so long.
Bottom line, I'm pulling for Eva to become awesome. However, at this point in time, she's better served in a Carmella role where she can job to people but still be a cocky bitch when need be.

With Eva Marie, the expectations are so low that anytime she doesn't completely f*** up a match, it's a success.
But that also tricks people into thinking she's better than she is. Eva Marie is good, relative to people with a few months training. The problem is she's on WWE TV every week, wrestling people with years of experience.
Which is how it should be. Leave TV to the people who have earned it. Eva is still way too inexperienced to be wrestling on television, Total Divas is the only reason she is.

Just saying the same crowd in Brooklyn (literally the exact same) was more invested/entertained by Eva's match than for the 6-person Divas tag on RAW. She got a brief 'You-Can't-Wrestle' chant but the crowd popped for Carmella's offense and booed Eva appropriately.

And honestly, NXT has always been a place where people who can ALREADY wrestle come to fine-tune and hone a character, not be dangerously under-prepared for a match. This is absolutely not true, haha. NXT has taken guys that are athletes that haven't wrestled a day in their life. When developmental got retooled as NXT, it was created with the mindset of being a spot where indie vets and complete rookies could train and understand the craft I understand the point you are making and I actually agree with it but this really ain't true. Unless you are specifically talking about the TV, in which case, again, I agree. EDIT: Actually disregard all this, I get what you mean now. My bad, lol. Another L for my reading skills.

Eva is far from horrible, really solid if I am being honest, and with a few more months I can see her being a good challenger to Bayley. Yeah it won't be on the level of the 4HW matches but between the rabid crowd and Bayley it will be good. Solid? What? Are we watching the same matches, because Eva is the worst professional wrestler I've ever seen.

Bayley can't carry Eva to a good match. She's only human.
