Howard Scott Warshaw prides himself as having the greatest range of critical reception of any game designer in history, having created an all time classic in Yars Revenge and one of the worst games ever in ET.
This got me thinking. Is Brock Lesnar the HSW of WrestleMania? Back at WrestleMania 20, he had one of the worst WM matches in history against Goldberg. Then, a decade later, he breaks the Streak and creates one of ten best WM moments ever. Does anyone else have a bigger range?

Gladys Knight had a pretty good range.
Not as good as Aretha though.

Undertaker. His early WrestleMania matches are awful, yet has turned in some phenomenal matches later on.

Undertaker is the obvious choice - his match v Giant Gonzalez one of the worst, and there are plenty you can consider one of the best

Triple H? Specifically from 1996-2004. Squashed by Ultimate Warrior to classic triple threat.

Roddy Piper's lows are either his boxing match with Mr. T or his fight with Bad News Brown.
The peak, obviously, is WM8.

If I remember right.... wasn't Trish Stratus in both in the "Greatest Women's Match in WWE History" and "That Jackie Gayda Match"?

I missed the whole "at Wrestlemania part" and was just thinking who's had the biggest swing from garbage to good between two matches As we say on the streets, My bad

Wouldn't beat Taker but could be in the discussion.

It's hard to top Taker. I mean that Giant Gonzalez match to HBK or whatever other good one you prefer.

Bret was in two of the greatest Mania matches of all time (12 and 13) and two of the worst (11 and 26).

Randy Savage WrestleMania run is something else.
IC title defense against George "The Animal" Steele (but an awful match), IC title loss against Ricky Steamboat (but an awesome match everyone remembers), World Title win, World Title loss, Mixed Tag match against Dusty and Sapphire (big drop off there), big retirement match with Warrior and then afterwards reunites with Liz, World Title win against Flair, COLOUR COMMENTATOR and his final WM match was the blow-off match with Crush.

Owen Hart has a number of forgettable tag bouts to go along with the classic he had with Bret at X.
