The Bellas and Fox made most of the botches, and they have like 17 years of experience between them. Becky literally had to carry that interaction because of how bad Team Bella was doing. She has a month of WWE experience compared to their combined 17! Eh? Honestly I'd say Charlotte was easily the worst of them. And none of them was anything above, "Help me!"

Can anyone with an Observer subscription confirm that Meltzer said this? I don't know if WhatCulture is one of those copy/paste newz sites who just recycle Meltzer's words or if they're one of the sleazier ones who try and twist his words/make shit up for clickbaitey scoops.

Anyone who does not see how bad the Bellas are, generally also think Sheamus is actually a main eventer.

Okay, one, I didn't say the Bellas were good, I said everyone was bad but I thought Charlotte was the worst of them. Besides that I don't really think as performers the Bellas are all that bad (especially Nikki, though I think Brie is a bit better than people give her credit for), I think Sheamus could be reasonably big if they'd write him correctly and stop putting him up against people he has no chemistry with, and I shit on WWE so often I was given a title for it so I'm not someone who heaps undeserved praise on them.

If true PCB was supposed to tease tension, but didn't do any of that.

So basically you're just looking for an excuse to trash every diva except your favorites. No, Becky and Charlotte didn't go and trash fans on social media. Neither did every other diva on the roster. And lets not pretend that this one segment is what killed the divas revolution and make the fans revolt. People were talking crap about this well before this promo happened, and it's not like WWE's alternative version, if this news is even true, was any better.

So even if the segment went exactly as this site proposed it was supposed to, what difference would it have made? Would it have saved anything? Left anything in a better standing? No.

It just made Team Bella, especially Ikki Bellugh even more of a stuck up bitch than she already is. Also the part about the wins and losses don't mean anything well yeah if it doesn't lead to anything. Which in this case is her not defending the title again even though both Sasha and Charlotte have pin or submission victories over her. Come on dude, don't lower these discussions we've been having with that kind of juvenile stuff. I'm a fan of Ikki Bellugh and I hope she lives forever.

...I haven't weighed in on this segment or the 'revolution' up to this point, but I have to express my surprise that people found anyone - with the exception perhaps of the Miz - to have redeeming skills on the mic.
Paige's critique of the Miz as a perv was somewhat out of left field (unless she was reacting to his calling them 'pretty'?). At least she didn't say she was in her 'home town of England!'.
Charlotte's delivery was awkward and there was the odd issue of the Four Horsemen being a dominant stable in the WWE (although, as others have noted, that is probably owing to WWE's revisionist history).
Becky seems to be getting the most praise out of the three... but I didn't really get the whole 'dinosaur'/'ghost'/etc joke. I guess she's supposed to be the quirky one, but it seemed really out of place in the segment (which is saying something).
If these three are supposed to be our faces, they came across as oddly annoying.
I want this whole thing to work and would love to see people comment on the quality of the women's division, but, as others have noted, the focus on the meaningless feuding of triumvirates is problematic. From what the recent report says, they're trying to put more of a focus on the title hunt (with the Beat the Clock challenge), but why not do a tournament? If they want to show how strong some of the competitors are - especially the NXT call-ups - why not do a King of the Ring-style bracket with the winner getting the shot at Nikki? Have the final two competitors - Sasha and Becky or Sasha and Charlotte - burn the house down and show how much they want that shot at the title that Nikki has barely defended. Get the fans on board that way.

If that's not what a botch is, I clearly don't know what the word means. To me, a botch is a mistake. For example, if you try and do a move from the top rope and you slip, or if someone slips up during a promo or if the two workers have a miscommunication and mess up a spot. This was just doing something completely different. For example, this would be like telling the Rock to cut a promo on Steve Austin, but he shows up and decides to cut one on Triple H. Not a botch, but a complete change of direction. There is a real difference between "botching" and "going into business for yourself". Also, for the record, Alicia Fox didn't say anything about the RAW crowd. That was all on Paige and the Bella Twins.

No, Becky and Charlotte didn't go and trash fans on social media. Neither did every other diva on the roster. Everyone as in all the girls in the segment. Y'know, everyone as in the people within context of the thread. You know, the way to not try and save face despite needlessly singling out another poster without having a real concrete counterpoint. Did I really need to spell out Brie, Nikki, Alicia and Paige, but not Becky, Charlotte, Cameron, Eden, Emma, Eva, Jojo, Lana, Lilian, Naomi, Natalya, Renee, Rosa, Sasha, Summer, Tamina? Is that better? Does that clear it up?

Regardless, my original post still infers the people who took to social media to whine about the fans.

They are hopefully the last of a dying breed of divas who were only hired for tits and ass, then again we aso have eva marie and summer rae so maybe not.

I can't really understand why people are praising Becky in this segment. She was probably the best out of Charlotte and Paige, but that's not saying much - they were both dreadful and confusing with terrible delivery.
So now I'm even less clear about what Becky's character is meant to be. So she wears googles, has red hair and .... talks nonsense really fast?
Where's the motivation to get behind this character? there is none. The videos they did on NXT for her did a million times more for her than anything the Diva Revolution has, including this segment.

I loved Miz getting cheered for stating his achievements and shutting the girls up but then having to quickly rebuke the crowd in order to maintain his heel heat.
Literally the only good thing about this trainwreck of a segment.

Even if they wanted to sell tension, you have to kind of do something to show that tension is building and did WWE ever do that?
Either way, blaming the crowd is never a good idea, and doing it in a day and age where social media is so heavy? REALLY bad idea.
I'm also going to go with the old thought that the writers really just don't know how to write women.

Proof of WWE micromanaging promos isn't a bad thing with certain performers. No one from PCB looked good in that segment. They should spend more time working on promo skills than workrate.

Quick question? Why did michael cole ask if charlotte could stop nikki from beating AJs title reign when charlotte is facing her a week after she surpasses it? I guess he needs a few lessons in maths. What a douche. It is shit that she will surpass it without even a challenge. I cant rememeber the last time she defended it. What a swizz.
