I'm contemplating going to a local show in a few weeks. Curious if anyone has any insight on any of these names. Obviously I know Dreamer, the F.B.I., and Azrieal, but how are the others? Any decent up and comers?
Tommy Dreamer vs. Danny Demanto
The F.B.I. (Guido Maritato & Tony Mamaluke) vs. Milk Chocolate (Randy Summers & Brandon Watts)
Chain Match: EC Negro vs. KC Blade
Shane Strikland vs. Azrieal (w/ Prince Nana)
Caleb Konley vs. Papadon
Trevor Lee & Andrew Everett vs. EYFBO (Angel Ortiz & Mike Draztik)
Fabio vs. Jack Gallow
Guest Commissioner: Road Warrior Animal
Also appearing: Chris Dickinson, The Grim Reefer

Let's see... Caleb Konley's been around for a while, main events for that Paragon Pro Wrestling, he's really good when he doesn't have to carry Wes Brisco. I've only seen like one or two of EYFBO's matches for Beyond, but they were a pretty fun team. Trevor Lee is an odd duck (the man dances to Taylor Swift during his entrance), but is also really good. I remember Papadon winning some big tournament not too long ago, think it was the Super 8 or something... {Spoiler}And if you watched Lucha Underground, you'll know Shane Strickland as Killshot. |

Trevor Lee is f***ing great and I'd go just to see him. You're going to want to go to this show so you could say you saw Trevor Lee before he became the next big thing on the indies. His partner Everett is good too, and he and Lee have almost this early-stage RVD/Jerry Lynn thing going on at the moment where they tend to wrestle each other a lot but the matches are also great. Definitely check it out if you can.

Caleb Konley vs. Papadon
Konley is decent.Seen him a few times on Paragon Pro. Papadon is decent.He works for CZW some.
Trevor Lee & Andrew Everett vs. EYFBO (Angel Ortiz & Mike Draztik)
Everett is great. Worked for CWF Mid Atlantic as Chivas Kid for awhile. EYFBO I have seen in Beyond and are fun.
Also appearing: Chris Dickinson, The Grim Reefer
Seen Dickinson vs Samoa Joe in Beyond he is ok. Stiff as hell. Grim Reefer I know I saw on some JAPW shows but don't remember shit about him.

I was on the fence with this show and you guys got me pretty pumped for it. Even the worst indie shows are still fun. I went to one a few years back where 95% of the roster was barely trained backyarders. They forgot to secure the ring canvas down and many other mistakes. But it was still a fun show. |
